  1. Sounds reasonable and logical. Only caveat, is some buyers like to fly under the radar and not 'advertise' their participation in the rep trade... Just a thought... Saving grace is according to your last post, you guys delete them after 90 days. Comes back to buy the seller, not the watch.

What I would do is spend time at the "Vintage Rolex Forums - Dial Archive". Compare Yuki, NDT, etc against the look you want. Also, if you find a dial at any of the mentioned sources EMAIL them and confirm their pictures are WYSIWIG. I recently bought a 1665 dial that was not what was pictured, but actually BETTER, but that was a fluke. Price wise I would gamble with Yuki, unless the NDT really rings your bell. Mine went from the MBW dial to Ubi's NDT dial. I would could have lived with the MBW dial - BUT even though Rolex made "R O LEX" spaced dials I did not care for the MBW spacing in matching that. Tritium ages to yellow/brown hues, so also think about if you want a aged beater look, or a well cared for possible serviced looking vintage. For your inspiration:
  3. Everything and more you need can be found @ http://videohelp.com Example: DVD Audio Extractor is a software DVD audio extracting / ripping tool. It can help you to extract sound tracks from your favorite DVDs and DVD-Audio discs and save them as OGG, MP3 or Wave files. DVD Audio Extractor can also demux audio streams directly to LPCM wav, mpg, ac3 or dts files. or http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/how-to-copy-the-selected-dvd-karaoke-songs-t300934.html
  4. Love this shot F333.
  5. Thanks for the link! Nice Homage. Nice case, and bracelet. The dials on the other hand... so-so imho.... Also doing the math, this costs $545, you are looking at roughly $955 savings over something like the GEN Doxa 1000T ($1490). While $1000 is nothing to sneeze at, I say "save up" and buy a real Doxa. You won't be dissapointed....
  6. Working from home and wearing this very comfortable 6263:
  7. There goes the neighborhood. Congrats...
  8. The 1st rule of Rep Club, is you do not talk about Rep Club (with ADs) The 2nd rule of Rep Club, is you do NOT talk about Rep Club (with ADs)
  9. Excellent post guys! I just recently acquired a 6263 with the two above issues. The Freddy333's fix is magic. As far as the chrono stoppage. EXACT same thing. So to clarify: loosen the caseback some? Is this some type of impingement from an 'overtightened' case? Curious as to the mechanics here. The things you learn here @ RWG.
  10. More Vintage Love:
  11. Wow, great project.
  12. My father and I both own these. Honestly, we've had good luck with them. He has worn his daily for about 3 years now with no issues. Mine is used as a beater, and has taken much abuse as well... I have been planning on trying to use the movement in franken Rolex projects since it beats at 19.8 and size wise looks like it might work. This was also the watch worn in "Life Aquatic"
  13. Gen Late Nite Sunday:
  14. Talk to me, please! I was just about to have my MBW Case drilled for a working a HEV and lugs. I will buy you lunch If I can make this mid-case work, I will pay-it-forward with my MBW mid-case.
  15. One of the best modern Rolex's around! Wear it well.
  16. I keep going back and looking at the awesome pics. I think this is my favorite. I love how the lume / aging looks like "Foam from a Cappuccino" MMMmmmmm Yum!
  17. Wow, wow, and wow... That dial is gorgeous!
  18. @Redwatch, I agree with you in regards to the Frankens. That brings up a good point: Standard Rep -vs- Gen Super Rep -vs- Gen Franken -vs- Gen I think the pride, thrill of the hunt, you get from a Franken will satisfy more than a simple gen purchase. The standard/super is a tough one for me...
