  1. Found this image of the THC sans back and I am having trouble seeing the plastic parts mentioned. Can anyone enlighten me? I am finding myslef really drawn to the THC recently and need a good reason to not get one
  2. Amazing such a small thing can make such a difference. One thing that has always boggled my mind is why can't they replicate such little things accurately? Given the detail and effort in repping something like a dial or crown, a little spring like that seems it should be a piece of cake. In any case, nice upgrade
  3. That's freaking awesome! Cool find BT.
  4. That is quite a "beater". I can't imagine I would let that get damaged either. Although much less than the real McCoy it still sounds like a pretty penny involved in putting that together.

That looks great. I never would have thought to try something like that. Who did the PVD?

  7. That is freaking amazing! I am in awe.
  8. For those that maybe don't check it often, onesaleaday has a great deal today on a ladies Movado. Grabbed one for my wifes birthday. Just wanted to share.
  9. I agree with simon, the rivets of the bracelet really look good with the bezel. I like it a lot.
  10. Very nice. The detail on the dial is beautiful. And that movement, like red said
  11. Agree with Member X. If you do get QC pics, post them up and we will help to ID what you are getting.
  12. I have to agree with some of the others regarding what is passed off as "journalism". Seems like anyone with access to the web and the ability type (even poorly) self proclaims their expertise and pours out pointless drivel that is often not researched and incorrect. Very sad. The internet is an amazing medium and I often think about how it used to be before it was around but it is also very enabling for those that would otherwise remain silent in their ignorance.
  13. Good god man....that's crazy! Hopefully you didn't loose too much rolling over that many pieces I think this one is my favorite reason "I though I needed a quartz watch in my collection... No..."
  14. Welcome aboard Wiki. Looking forward to seeing what you have in the box. Although I hope for your sake they are actually there even if I am not looking at it.
  15. Gorgeous piece burnz! If that doesn't inspire you vlydog I don't know what will
  16. Awesome! For those questioning why...don't knock it until you try it. The rush of a roller coaster is nothing compared to a polar dip. Cool shots Nanuq
  17. I actually think it looks best on the Longines. Suits that watch quite well. Even though the FF may not be accurate it is still a beauty.
  18. Welcome back gio. Most notables have been mentioned. The 1655 really is quite nice for the money. The new PAM too, if you are into them
  19. Nice pick up. Would love to do the same myself one day. Congrats!
  20. Or this one...very cool with sub seconds at 6 and powered by it's own weight.
  21. Incredible! You gotta love Lego, the ultimate tool to express your imagination. I love it. How about this one
