  1. Very nice. The X is a great watch even though it's quartz Seriously though, looks great.
  2. Brutal. Clearly doesn't look like WUS handled that too well. I guess their panties were in a bunch that day
  3. Very cool results. Looks great. So are you saying all in you completed this project for $400? Oh yeah, definitely go with the black bezel. @jmb: Nice job. How did you cuck the case for turning the inner bore? 4 jaw? Custom jig? I am very curious
  4. Love that BCE! Gorgeous. I really NEED to get one.
  5. Wonderful review and write up...as always Thank you for taking the time to do this. Truly invaluable to the community.
  6. Tough one. My only guess would be a tool to help bend (coil) the end of the main spring for the arbour.
  7. Sounds like the date jumper may not be seated correctly. This is the little spring that sits between the teeth of the date wheel to `lock` it in place after it turns. Take a look at the tech pdf at eta.ch. It shows the part I am talking about.
  8. Looking good J. I agree with TeeJay. Beauty shot of that dial in the last pic.
  9. Quite a detailed write up. Impressive photos too. Nice read. Thanks.
  10. It would be impossible to keep up without it. All hail the New Post link!
  11. I know jmb can do this kind of thing. Although I am not sure if he offers it as a service. Probably worth a PM as he can at least point you in the right direction if nothing else.
  12. This was actually last night but I'll throw it in anyway since I'm still wearing it today
  13. Hello all, I have had the good fortune of being assigned by my company to work in the San Francisco bay area for the past two weeks. All I can say is that those of you who live here are very lucky. It is such a beautiful and diverse area. I can see why it is famed by having ones heart left here. In any case some work colleagues and I climed up Mission peak in the Fremont area last night after work. The weather was an unseasonably warm 96 degrees with crystal clear skies. My POC and I made it up in one piece in decent time. I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story. From the bottom of the hill (near where I am working) Resting at the top (that's me by the way) The official time to ascend the peak....not bad...1:12:49 Worth the climb Just in time to catch the sunset Dark descent, a little dangerous by light of my mobile, but pure beauty all the way Can't wait to come back and do it again!
  14. Great shots. Amazing just how different it is. I am surprised by that.
  15. Good energy from Ontraio via Kentucky rerouted temporarily through California.
  16. Awesome look. You are right about the contrast bringing out the dial. Very nice.
  17. Even on the rep strap it looks stunning. Although the custom is much much nicer. Man, my short list of must haves is getting really long
  18. Definitely post on Risti. Warning should go out. I hope you guys get things sorted.
  19. Wow that's bad. A+ for effort, F- for result.
