    Correct. GMT hand goes around the dial only once per 24 hrs. That is the intended function.

    Great job Sander. My only question regarding the detailed step by step you gave (thanks for that by the way) is in the final step. What method did you use cut down the tall cap once attached to the cannon? I assume something with the dremmel again. Amazing work!

    That's true. My reference being whether to choose asian ETA clone vs Gen ETA. Swapping from anything else, as you indicated, is a real PITA.

    I also concur with Dizzy's suggestion. When and if the asian finally dies, and you still like the watch, you can swap in an ETA at that time. As for where to get the service, it all depends where you live or if you are willing to ship. Doesn't take long unless there is a waiting list.
