Bravo, FxrAndy
And regarding the topic, Civil War is a terrible thing. Remembering those spectators who lost their lives at that football match in Dublin Castle, and the prisoners killed in their cells on this day in 1920.
If i remember correctly, Noobfactory is shifting to Selita movements, which are still Swiss, of course. Some say better than ETA. The Noobmariner comes in a21j, Clone, genuine Swiss, and asia 3135 clone flavors from the factory.
I might be naive, but a trusted dealer over at the RWI forum claims to be a NoobFactory wholesale dealer, and he sells the noob GMT IIc. If he's a trusted dealer over there, I don't know how much lying he could get away with.
OH DANG I just noticed that you want an older non-ceramic GMT ... sorry.
Thanks .. I understand that the price is too good to be true but ... hey ... even if I clean everything I own 1 time and then it breaks ... I have saved money over taking it to the jewelry store to use THEIR ultrasonic cleaner.
$20 shipped is a gamble I will take all day.
Also, they claim this is a 48Khz ultrasound cleaner with a real stainless steel tub .. so it's not a cheapo "vibrator" some places sell .. which vibrate slowly and ineffectively.
ETz had been slightly prone to problems with customer service for a long time. When their most popular watch (the rolex DSSD v5) suddenly began shipping with a batch of crooked dials, all hell broke loose and the complaints poured down like rain.
First the owner, Chris, vanished and then his workers at the store vanished one by one .. until no one answered emails anymore, or even shipped watches anymore. There are many people here with money sent to ETz and no watches to show for it.
I firmly believe that Chris is a good person. He once sent me an ETA 2836 at his expense to replace a faulty one in my DSSD. His business simply grew out of his control by it's own popularity, and then the massive crooked dial issue pushed them over the edge and they dropped out of sight.
Don't order from the Watch International web site. It's for "normal people" .. RWG members email Mary directly with requests and possibly get a better price than on the web site. Also remember that Watch International is not a factory. It's a custom shopping service. You tell them what you want and they go out into the watch bazaars and pick the best example they can find for you.
They can get things that are not on the site. Use it for reference only.
Im sorry to say, but every stainless steel rep watch is going to be a little dirty/oily/greasy when you get it. You have to clean it and perhaps even re-brush it to make it look great. The coronet safety clasp thing is a genuine complaint, tho.
As far as I am aware, reverse osmosis systems flush their membranes with clean water, thus using more water than is actually processed and delivered to you.
mil_sub: flushing toilet also wastes lots of water...
Removing potentially deadly pathogens from your home is not what I would call wasteful. Unless you like to keep your byproducts nearby .. you know .. for security reasons. OPE POE
Here's a tasty number on OEM Lamborghini wheels from the Audi forums. BTW for people looking at A8s .. the S8 is the sport model @360hp and lower gearing for more OOMPH. The A8 is @300 or 320hp depending on your model year. I get 28MPG @ 70mph avg in my A8, so I will keep the higher gearing hehe.
Your replica Deepsea is a Cartel/Noobfactory/BK "v3-v5 Ultimate" ... they change the name a lot heheh. The alternate popular replica would be the trevortime 2010 v5 .. not shown here.(except in my signature photo hehehe)
