I think it's natural that some people are still looking for their passion, and some have found it. Those that have tried it, and are saying,.. "hey, I tasted it, and it wasn't for me." I can accept that. I think however if you are going to leave something, which for the life of me.. I can't understand why, {If, you seriously love watches, that is..} It would be nice to hear some valid reasons, beyond bad luck. As you can see, there are, some eloquet posts in this thread, proving that between various combinations of choice, the mechanical reliability reason, does not have to be an issue for everyone, no more or less than with genuine. I have had great experiences with my watches including mechanically... though some of that is due to the fact that I am very easy on watches... and keep a large enough collection that allows me to rotate them, making wear & tear, a non-factor. I love chronographs, as well,.. and won't hesitate to buy an Asian, and I have had Zero major problems.. and I use the chronos baby.. use them well. Though I love watches in general.. Even if I were a multi-millionaire,.. I'm too practical, to pay exorbitant price tags for names... Performance Yes,.. but never for names.. So until someone figures out how to allow me to have any genuine watch I wanted, for under $700.. I'm staying right here..

Hmm,.. Maybe your collection is tired... Do you mind telling us what's in your watch box ? I also chime in that if you love watches in general, unless you're a billionaire, replicas are a fun way to explore the world of mechanical time.

I too was ruined by Pam,... 40mm is the smallest I can go with Rollix. It got so bad that I sold a mbw drsd like it was a toy rep, and have left my comexes in the junk drawer. So I say Exp II as well,..

Great thing about Pams, is that they are not well known..so not many frames of reference to worry about.. By the way this font issue is the first I have heard, even on a replica board.. so don't sweat the small stuff.......

The latest release is the 5th gen 42mm..... No chronos however.. But we are awaiting the 45mm etas which should have been here by now.. Has anyone thought of changing the bezel on the orange po to black ?

I was thinking about obtaining one... but something about the dial is holding me off.... maybe it's too plain, simple or maybe it's the hands... .. I can't quite pinpoint it.... but after time.. like everything else, {well not every watch.. Gerald Genta remains on top of my Ugly list} but maybe it will grow on me.. Until I see with mine own eyes.. Every Daytona with running seconds at 6 has had the new Asian 7750 in it. Every IWC model I have worked on has the new Asian 7750 in it. I have not seen the new Asian 7750 in any other models, or in PAM's specifically, such as the 188/196 etc... So, IWC models and running seconds at 6 Daytona's are the only ones I know about... with the new movement. Tags may have them.. {but I tend to stay away from any rep that sells gens in department stores}.. So or me, it's Iwc Gst, all the way... The 45 is okay.. but the HE valve is sitting way too low. Also my crystal needs total replacement,.. what I thought was fog turns out to be a badly manufactured crystal. I think I will wait for a new version rather than work with this one,....
