  4. I think it looks great. Nice franken!
  5. However.... I saw a gorgeous gen sub near the Brooklyn Bridge this past summer ...and I'm about to go the same route as well. I've decided to build and addition on the house, so while I was borrowing equity, I figured it only made sense to take enough out to get something nice for myself as well. This time I'm buying a stable mate for my gen triple six. I found a gorgeous matte dialed 16800 (early 7 mil) w/box & papers that will soon be mine
  6. Why didn't you just tell the first guy it was a rep so he could fix it for you?
  7. Thanks for taking the time to post up BK. your expertise has always been a great help. I've still got my WM9 sitting in a box waiting to be modded. Cheers, JJ
  8. Hi R & J, Glad to hear you arrived home safely, and that your trip was a success. Thank you for the interesting report on the watch school. I'm surprised to hear that after attending such an exclusive school, one can expect such a meager salary. I hope you're feeling a bit better today, and the jet lag is beginning to wear off. Cheers, JJ

  14. Got Franken? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Igor, would you mind telling me whose movement I did put in? Igor: And you won't be angry? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry. Igor: Abby something. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby something .... Abby what? Igor: Abby Normal. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby Normal? Igor: I
  15. As Hambone and Freddy said, the Rolex is simply stated the most elegant of men's watches. I've been selling most of my other collection simply to fund further rolex. Here's an example of a gorgeous gen:
  16. Hi RG & J! Glad to hear you arrived safely, and are having a great time. Wow, you've got guts going to another country, hoping in a camper and going for a ride. I'm sure the memories from this adventure the two of you are taking will last a lifetime. Enjoy the rest of your trip, and have a safe travel home. Warmest Regards, JJ & L
  17. Nice pictures G-Man, and nice collection! Glad you found our home here before you went broke! Cheers, JJ
  18. Welcome aboard! Here's the item number from the bay: 380071301115 Give him a call and let him know which lighter you have, and that it's a fake. He'll send you the proper brass adapter. Make sure you buy his refill fluid, it comes with rubber tube gaskets to prevent leakage. You may also want to visit a home depot or similar place to get a few tiny o-ring gaskets to fit over the thread part of the adapter where it meets the lighter, this will further prevent gas from spraying all over the place
