  1. Correct GK. The case I was talking about Janine if the earlier ST3035 cases. Has been worked and lugs beveled and the holes enlarged and beveled correctly and crown guards reshaped as well as other gen parts added plus engraved. This with the correct adapter and a nicely serviced 2892 can’t be beat or better a gen 3035 movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You can always get the correct 16800 case and use a 2892 movement with the correct adaptor. Then you will have the right profile as well as the correct repair for a 16800. Hate to be a stickler but the TC case will Work for a 16610 not so much a 16800. PM if you are interested in a case. Hope it’s ok to post like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I how’s it man? That’s interesting. Couldn’t see the pictures but the reactions alone. Wonder this this JJS factory is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Why am I holding onto my st3035 16800 engraved case for? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Now a 2892 with a custom adapter will fit perfectly and run just as well if not better and save you a few thousand quid. Just a thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No. The 3035 is closer in dimensions to a 2892. 3035 movements are also not cloned yet that I know of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I like the old DW cases specially with the nice crisp sterile dials. I wish I could find one of those for a sterile PN 6239 build with the 7750 movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sata card in pci would your best bet. The ide adapters will allow you to use the drive but you're limited to ide. Fastest simplest way I can put it. There's always the super expensive and space limiting ide solid state route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What I meant was the gen layout needed that part. It goes crystal retainer>bezel washer/spacer>click spring >bezel>insert. I have found that with the TC arrangement guy can do without the spacer. Or thin the spacer out. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkAnother thing is that if the bezel is not perfectly round it won't rotate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah TC bezels from my experience don't like that gen part installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Great post. I've been away for too long. I miss my franken with the y3135 movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nice!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have to concur with automatico. The st hands are pretty good for the money. Relume to match and you're good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I know brother. Lot of research done online for almost four years before I got a few done. I have my keeper case and dial. Just waiting for the right movement to come along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. That's correct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Nice. I miss my old 16800 franken. Good post. Just make sure to add that it is possible to have a 16800 with the SEL bracelet as well. Makes it a lot easier to source a decent bracelet for this build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Keep on trucking! Love it. Not that you left more DNA in the bay, but because these vehicles were meant to just go. Nowadays without a computer most cars will just be dead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The ST crystal is pretty darn good. For the non AR and non coronet vintage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Switched to an Audi A4 B6 with 2.7tt conversion for my daily driver. Much better mileage than the four door wrangler and pretty fast. Doesn't look like much which is the sleeper idea I was going for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Glad you got it working. Miss mine. Wear it in good health. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Man I miss mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I had issues with three of those TC movements that required some smithing. Reversing wheels and driving pinions and such. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for sharing brother bear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
