  1. I am voting for you during the next Presidential election! Haha, bravo with the suggestion.
  2. Sound advice. A responsible and controlled business model.
  3. Teaser... My Franken TT GMT IIc Build thread to follow soon. PBdad did an excellent job on this unique build!
  4. looking good! Let us know how that coating makes out in daily wear
  5. Again, life deals some serious lemons sometimes. Thats fact. So in that I sympathize with MD and I wish him the best through the tough times. With that said... I do not know of many, if any, jobs that you could "abandon" for months while handling personal issues. At the end of the day there are work responsibilities. I do not think my boss would take it well if I said I needed 2-3 months off to take care of a cold/death/birth/etc. The excuses that he's spending the time communicating are worthless, lets just be honest. Windows 7 or 8? Really? Please MD, you're a smart guy. That time could be better spent coming up with a plan of action and reaching to the members he has work pending with. Just man up, own up, and move on. There are several people who have more than just a few hundred in watches/parts with MD. This isn't about putting family 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. This is just about running a responsible business. Again, MD I wish you the best.
  6. If he showed you pictures prior to buying and you accepted it then its on you at this point. Its the buyers due diligence to ask the questions and either accept or deny the item. One thing to note is that there is substantially more lume material on the gen. IMHO the sean dial looks good.
  7. I am interested in seeing what story/excuse comes up next... I can understand few not getting responses back in a timely manner but this seems like the tip of the iceberg.
  8. He could find shelter in a padded room to avoid those scratches, haha
  9. Looks pretty good. Bezel has a real nice bezel, IMO. That's always a big miss when the bezel teeth are shallow.
  10. not a fan of the new one. I think the pearl is cool but overall like the OP mentioned, it reminds me of an invicta
  11. rep running shoes just seems like you're asking for trouble, lol. keep it gen. Nike lunars
  12. Little less then an 1/4" slack. Firm but not too much.
  13. Rehaut engravings are very well aligned. Not bad for a sub (no pun intended) $200 sub, lol.
  14. I would accept that rep. One of the best things about the Brietling reps are how accurate they are out of the box.
  15. These vintage pieces can definitely be a challenge to build correctly. Speaking from experience, lol.
  16. TC thanks for all the time and effort you've put into your sub offerings. True pioneer in the rep watch hobby. Bravo.
  17. Check out TC Parts in the trusted vendor section of the forums. Hands down the best quality rep bracelets. That or check the bay for some good deals.
  18. I can't imagine that being something that regularly happens. But sh** happens sometimes. I would expect they take full responsibility.
  19. Now ladies and gentlemen, that's how pandas should be done. Looks awesome
  20. So that's what was in that plastic box I sent you... Haha. Looks good
