  1. I have started to like Tudor recently. Rolex case and ETA-movements.. Close to our replicas.. The vintage Tudor Ranger is on my radar.. Way cheaper than the vintage Rolex Explorer.
  2. My car is almost a replica... A Japanese knockoff of a 1960ties Lotus Elan.. Goes well with the watch!
  3. Interesting watch. How do you operate the chronograph? Is it one chrono button inside the crown??
  4. One more vote for the BCE. The watch has a very good feel, and the pearl is even better on the newest batch. I agree that the engravings on the bezel could be better, though. ( The SFSO has deeper, sharper engravings.) On the Navitimer SS, the misspelling of "Messerschmitt Bf 109" as "Messers14477" on the caseback is the no-go for me..
  5. The video is no longer available?? Maybe removed due to some stupid copyright laws?
  6. Always up for a challenge. I almost made it... Close enough! I agree that the Aerospace is a very comfortable watch, thin and lightweight, with lots of style. I find it more serious looking than the more flashy Breitlings. The version with the italic numbers, like yours, are the nicest!
  7. I just bought a genuine 2004 Breitling Aerospace in Titanium/Gold. Amazing watch! Here are some eyecandy! The combination of gold and titanium is striking Lots of functions... Enough to entertain me through long and boring meetings. Very good caseback engravings, with conversion factors. Useful for an engineer.
  8. Nah... That is just normal behavior. I guess he tried to impress with knowledge, maybe there was some ladies around... Most people dont even know that the genuine Oyster bracelets are quite light and flimsy. The Yacht-Master bracelet is much better than on the Submariners.. I was once called out on my ETA-powered Sub, because the second hand was "ticking"
  9. Thanks for the info on the Roadster, I have been watching that for some time.. A cool watch which is very different from all the sport watches! I bought my girlfriend the Cartier Seatimer for Christmas, another very well made Cartier replica. Which also guys can wear. I love the special asymmetrical date font, guess the Roadster also has it. Wear it well!
  10. The bezel just fell off itself (without the glass) when he tapped it. It should not be necessary to remove the glass. I had a look at my own Carrera, and it seems to be tight. Guess the best way to attack it should be by the outer edge. The movement is not affected by this operation.
  11. The bezel insert is glued to the bezel, so I think it should be possible to try to remove it by gently use a very thin and sharp knife. Thereafter glue it back on. On the Carrera of a friend, the bezel actually popped right off, so I guess it should be possible to remove it without damage. Be careful though!
  12. Cool collection, good taste! How would you compare the Blackbird versus the Chronomat Evo? I am thinking about picking up either a new Evo or try out the Blackbird...
  13. I hope for a better Daytona.. With a good modification as with the sec@3 Breitlings.. Or the regular IWC Aquatimer, non Chrono.. Wasn't there some rumors about a new run of Explorer IIs also?? The replica makers seem to be busy pushing out all varities of 7750 Chronos. After the SFSO there has not really been any more interesting non-chrono replicas. A Big Pilot would be cool, but not really my cup of tea. Strangely, I dont have any dream-replicas anymore... I am rather working on reducing my collection at the moment.
  14. Yes, I would say that is the easisest tell. Also, the version 1 has "darker" hands. The white dial version 1 has a more silvery white, which is more correct.
  15. Nice.. There are some good finds on TZ... Two days ago a guy was selling his Breitling Aerospace from July 2007 for 1700 USD!
  16. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=61044 This is the better version, with correct fonts.
  17. I am not into hats myself, but I remember another member in here, a year ago I think, who actually has his own hat/cap shop on ebay! Don't remember his name or know if he is still around, but if he is I bet he will chime in! Hats and nice watches... Maybe some masculine thing?
  18. A really cool watch, thanks for the pics! I find myself liking it more and more each time I see a picture of it. Just have to consider either the Porsche or the IWC Aquatimer on bracelet. How do you find the datefont? I understand it has a custom made day and datefont?

  23. Wow... Seems like there will be a lot of nice watches for 2008! There is even a new release of the Anniversary Speedmaster in gold. I think these newest Speedmasters use the same movement as in the Breitling Montbrilliant Datora, which was released as replica some months ago. http://www.pc-80108.com/bl02042-montbrilli...nos-p-2933.html All the subdials work as in the gen. The 9 o'clock subdial is combined running seconds/24-hour counter. I think there is a review over at TRC about it. Nice watch..
  24. Beautiful pearl on that one! Thanks for the eyecandy!
