1.) Gold watch
2.) Non metal bracelet - prefer leather
3.) Non - chrono
4.) Not a PAM
Feta, my sweet cheeseguy
, here is my suggestion FWIW.
"Piaget Emperador YG White"
Not sure if you'd care for a Quartz, but I think this watch is unusual enough so that NO ONE would suspect it to be a rep. It's pretty darn close to gen too. Had my eye on it for a while.

I guess it depends what your role is in the company and which company.
Not just company, but any position used to net you some gold bauble.
Speaking of Vienna, my great-grandpa was a chemist and worked first for the Chemistry Dept as professor, then in the chemistry section of their library. After 50 years, he retired.
At his retirement ceremony, he got a gold medal (Germans and Austrians used to love this) with the school Arms; a platinum pen (again, Germans and Austrians love pens and stationery); and a gold watch.
I think he was holding out for the Key to the City, though.

absolutely awesome picture
The eagles one is the best, but there is an eerie incandescence about this photo:
Photo of a lifetime. National Geographic should be so lucky.
Do they have a drive-thru' Mickey D's where you are, Nanuq?
This is the one in Pite

This is just gorgeous. More mustardy than Hike's schoolbus yellow, and though I prefer his a touch more, this is a great combo!
What PAM is that supposed to be? Sorry, I am clueless about the PVD PAMs. I find them too masculine for me.

A Gold Star for you
Congrats for the good news. An IWC will be a nice reward for yourself.
I changed my rating from Zing to Gold Star. I thought since it was school-related, it might look kindergartenish to give the latter -- but you know what? If anything deserves a Gold Star, it is this.
CONGRATS, DUTCHY!
And I remember your first weeks at Uni, how discomfitted you were, you scamp.
-
Does the PAM 111h PVD exist either in rep form or gen? What 111 models do exist in PVD?
Well, Chubbchubb answered you mighty well, but I do know that Davidsen had one. Check to see if he still does, Demon.

"I told you I had prehensile feet"
LOL!
Gotta love the anthropological jokes.

The nurse at the sperm bank affected Johnny's ability to perform.
LOL!
Wow, these are getting better. You guys must love Hooters.

Hey GM, you missed your chance to put it on your wrist at the GTG...... This watch lay on the table with the hors d'euvres during the whole night
. The strap is from The Watch Boys.
Happy Birthday, Scoobs!!
May I suggest a new watch as a present?
@Pug: Sweet watch. Looks great on you.
-
it's the same perfect combo like this
Wow! Stealthy.
Few people would've chosen an olive gator, and it looks great.
@Hike: Yeah, the first does nothing for me, sadly. But that second one -- I can just imagine YOU wearing the yellow with jeans, and a baby blue shirt. Mmm, mmm.
@Lifter: Not everyone gets my humour. Glad you liked it.
-
Wow, great combo!
I think it's important in PVDs, already so dramatic, not to overwhelm the watch.
This stitching choice was FLAWLESS. Makes the aged markers pop out, without any gold stitching (the more obvious choice by some people). And what can you say about that sharky, Antonis! Perfect.

Gen 004a on a black Simona Shark with a hint of caramel stitching:
What do you think?
-
To me, the warm, cream nuance (is it just the pics?) of that off-white requires warm tones for the stitching too. Blue and other cold tones would make for a better fit on a different, cold off-white, icy white like.
Well-thought of, as usual, Sssurfer.
I see that Panera suggests what I was going to suggest -- ivory (or off-white thread, itself). But seeing how V said this would go with his jeans, I think he made the sensible choice.
A more daring choice would've been baby blue. The same blue as the Greek flag (the most beautiful blue there is).

"Big Omar's British Adventure - London C*nt Hunt"

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. SO CUTE!
EDIT: Just realised...
Oh my. Aren't his little, but incredibly sharp-looking claws too close to...you know what jewels.

Lotsa eagles
I once read that Prince Charles, on visiting America in the 70s, remarked that the bald eagle was "an odd symbol" for a nation to have. That's when I knew:
1- I wasn't a monarchist
2- Environmentalists are a weird and contradictory lot
3- I loved America
Thanks for the photo, Nanuq.

Okay, so far, I've been the one doing mostly the rating.
Now let's open the "voting"! The one with most "Funnies", "Gold Stars" and "Zings" wins.
The prize -- your choice of:
Hooters Army T-Shirt (Sizes M, L, XL)
Or:
A fun souvenir of comparable worth from Miami to share with your family!
Voting ends this Friday, Midnight EST.

Given the fact that I didn't want a black or really dark strap for my PAM253, what does everyone think of this selection?
Giggity-giggity. That was the last Paci I bought! Here are some closeups:
Biscotto means biscuit (UK)/cookie (USA) in Italian. And you can see how perfect the name is -- that texture is edible. I think you'll love it!
-
Guys what do you think about this deal??? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Thanks in advance.
- 0117 case
- The Zigmeister fitted Davidsen AR coated sapphire
- Swan neck Swiss Unitas movement with the proper dagger shaped needle.
- Refitted and moded crown guard so the lever closes tight.
- Relume job.
- Strapculture strap.
$450 USD.
Given the impossibility of finding a Fiddy these days, let alone one with such mod jobs, I think you done great.
-
Looks great V.
Victoria, I hope you don't hate all orange stiching...or I will be hurt
Oh no! In fact, I love orange stitching, hence my choice.
But you have to admit that strap is rancid. Bad leather, and stitchwork which looks like a Raggedy Ann doll.
The new strap looks great, V!
-
Um excuse me.............but how many turns can we have at this
And no this is not an entry.
As many as you want!

If they're old enough to bleed, they're old enough to breed.
Are you changing your entry for the contest?

Timeless luxury.
Horological perfection.
Only from Audemars Piguet.
Holy crap, LOL. I thought you were against sponsored reviews since that's gotta be straight from the AP AD!
Best watch this week, Corgi! Here are some other standouts for me:
Ztech, baby, this is the much vaunted E-series movement on the Fiddy, via a gorgeous photo by Fendushi. It's got "decorated" bridges.
Love coffee shots. And when next to a CD 2006, hotness!
CUTEST WRISTCHECK PHOTO EVER. Nuff said.
Not too many Wristies this thread, but some really good stuff.
@Dluddy: Ooh, hot hot hot.

TUESDAY
Behold, the Elizabeth Taylor blue V-strap on Andrew's 111h! Next to my new summery tote (heck, it's always summer here).
I was rockin' this combo with white Pucci pants, sailor blouse, and gold sandals today.
WEDNESDAY
Davidsen is sending me a new set of lugwires and screws for his 232, yay!
I dare to wear the DSN 232 anyway.
It's official.

I know probably few people care, but just in case it happens to you, do this:
1- Uninstall uTorrent (check Documents and Settings, go to C: drive or similar, then Owner or similar, then Application Data which defaults to hidden -- you'll have to change that in the folder options, then finally delete all the uTorrent files); then reinstall
2- Uninstall PeerGuardian2 (the folder in Programme Files does not fully delete, so manually do so); do not reinstall yet
3- Unplug your cable modem/router for 24 hours
4- If you STILL don't have a dynamically assigned new IP do this:
a. Go to Start, Run, cmd, ipconfig/release
b. Disconnect the plug both from the electrical outlet and ethernet cable from the computer
c. Reconnect it
d. Allow it to bring up a new IP
e. Check it under Start, All Programmes, Control Panel, Network Connections, Local Area Connection or similar, Enable or Repair if needed
You should obviously add port exceptions for uT and PG2 to Windows Firewall or any other firewall you have. I have McAfee and Windows running simultaneously, which is not recommended, but I've never had any conflicts.
5- Lastly, if you're using PeerGuardian2, when reinstalling the programming disable "Edu/Educational" from your allowed lists. There apparently is a conflict, as read via Wikipedia. You can add it later but not BEFORE installation.
You are good to go.![:tu:](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_thumbsup.gif)
Pugwash, I'm coming after your job, watch yer back!
Oh. What am I downloading now? Why Mythbusters: The MacGuyver Edition, of course!![:cc_arabia:](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_cc_arabia.gif)
