lazarini
Ehehe Steph u weasel well u might have a point but i fell in love with the superdome that came on this GW and thought to myself why not build a RED for a change... Now that said Tribal has a DRSD back for me on hold and an MBW DRSD dial all do im not a fan of the red lettering on that one maybe ill just keep the GW dial and back if i decide to switch that down the road ... still if i build what i have pictured in my mind with use of an more vibrant red letter dial i think the switch back will not be needed Man i love this pre-project decisions i swear this is the biggest fun! rower
This one was the one that got me into watch collecting...I've had it since highschool: This was my dad's eight grade graduation gift from his grandfather. cht
Wow! Some great works of art guys! I went through the whole thread and am amazed! Nice work! After looking through the pics, I began wondering where you guys are getting your sub non sel bracelets and endlinks from? And recommended places for an aspiring enthusiast? Thanks! Virgil Hilts
Here's mine. Gen 5512. III/60. Sadly, dial is a service replacement from the 70's, I believe. Finding a gen gilt dial is my grail. Still, pretty happy with it. I've had it for 18 years.

alligoat
Hey Nanuq, have you ever thought of putting a pearl in that insert? Like this one from watchesandparts: http://cgi.ebay.com/NOS-Vintage-Rolex-Subm...%3A1%7C294%3A50 I don't know if that's copesetic for a vintage like yours or not.
