that was going to be my exact suggestion! yuki offers the pearl empty i tried removing the paste from an ofrei pearl its really not easy to do, you can only pick it out with a drill bit and you still wont remove all of it. alcohol will make the plastic hard and brittle and acetone will melt it. (speaking from experience)

their pearls arent even accurate, compared with a gen insert lumi pearl, their paste is green, the pearl is too wide, and the shape tapers to a point where as the gen is flat on top

none of the rep hands seem to be right. none can get the size of the mercedes circle right on the hour hand. only clarks seems to, but the bottom of his hour hand has that awful square between the lume and the base. i used a combination of yuki hands (hour and minute) with a clarks second hand, trim the tip slightly and it matches up with my gen set.

SA3135 is to new to know its long term reliability... whether it lasts 1 year or 5 years eventually it will need replacement parts... and where ya gonna get em? its already been determined gen hands dont fit, gen balance wheel dont fit, gen stem doesnt fit. a long term reliable bet would have my money on an ETA or Sellita movement (NIB $125). being able to use a gen datewheel, dial with out clipping it, and a true 1:1 case is attractive option, but long term it could be a nightmare and a waste of money, especially if they are planning on improving and releasing a new version of this movement dropping all support most likely for the current 3135. you know how the game goes, things change every 6- 8 months

it was my understanding that the Ms could not have engraved rehauts and the numbers were arbitrary and not chronological, which is why its impossible to date the production of any particular M serial sub. e.g an M5xxxxxxx could very well come before an M1xxxxxxx

his hour hand has the right circumference of the round part, but the lume does not reach the pinion base like gen hands and this really bothers me, however his hour hand is the only one to have the correct circumference of the mercedes part, but the before mentioned flaw makes it unusable to me. his minute hand does not have the correct breaks and it looks obviously incorrect. the only usable hand is the seconds hand once you cut the tip down a bit it is a direct match for the gen. pairing it with yuki hands is the best current solution. yuki hands, paired with a trimmed clarks seconds like i said the gen hands have a noticably larger mercedes part observe my gen tritium hands and some tudor hands
