  1. looks good, but the case is still too thick and the CGs need doing.
  2. theyre different. the TW sub is decent. but it is NO WM9 v2 sub. take what you can get for now.
  3. there is none. this is what the "PT factory" seems to be shipping as the 93150 now DISGUST! official response "they dont make that style anymore" more or less a waste of money. maybe jmb could re-engrave some 93150 on those ends ?? and the use of the shorter screws that dont fit all the way through the link due to the crappy metal used causing them to break off in the hole. solution shorten the screws = less tension. HAH. re engrave the end, pair it with a gen clasp and bracelet links from a proper bracelet. but if youre doing all that why buy it in the first place? theres nothing left but shatty metal, 580 endlinks and the endlink bracelet connector..which is also incorrect.
  4. where to begin with this one. ubi said it right "everything"
  5. im telling you its not the same one. read the stamping on the end link... 93520. i guarantee the one in the picture is NOT gen assembly and not the same TW. the rehaut is also wokky. you will be disappointed. i dont even think you can fit a gen insert to this one based on the bezel ring shape.
  6. the gen does look pretty flat, def' flatter than a 5513
  7. my first attempt at this turned out decent. i used an ivory enamel paint that gave it a nice rich texture and no glow. hand painted this with a fine brush then theres always the iodine and bake route. i used a sewing pin to make tiny indents in the marker to give it a crumbling appearance sadly i ve sold both of these pieces
  8. i assume you cant make any more of these dials...? cause, honestly it looks better than yukis. did you even get that case back engraving thing sorted?
  9. the mbk one is engrave, so it has no opening to the outside world
  10. not to mention the effect it has on the oil in the movement
  11. is this not the droid youre looking for? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230644744051&category=10363&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
  12. i ll tell you right now, the complete bezel assembly i bought from WSO on ebay didnt fit tight enough over the the 295c crystal and the crystal fogged inside. ultimately i returned it and really only the post office benefited in this situation.
  13. yeah he's away for a bit and i need gaskets. be careful with the pt bracelet, last one i bought was a dud, not even worth returning for the refund
  14. if you start modding the retaining ring you could compromise the function of water tightness
  15. they are good looking pieces. datewheel looks odd though
  16. it should be mentioned if you buy just the retaining ring youll probably not have a correct fitting bezel ring unless its genuine, even if its claimed to be 1:1. if youre replacing a rep one its best to buy it in the matching pair
  17. very nice watch you have there
  18. even if it did youd have to take a drill bit to your case and make some lug holes. the case depth is also wrong for a 16800. there is plenty youd have to convert on a 16610 to make it accurate
  19. what bk says would work, also make sure the flat washer isnt severely warped. you could also put a bit of space between the retaining ring and the case, that would also work, but dont go swimming.
  20. how does the build quality feel on that cartel? i had a PT and the metal just didnt feel right and the finishing wasnt up to par. once they fix those stumpy cgs the cartel could be decent
