  1. Welcome David. It's true what Toad says about expectations. I just received my first rep from Andrew. I expected a cheep looking and feeling watch. What I had seen in the past led me to this conclusion. The watch I received was of good quality and substance. I was impressed to say the least. :good: I showed a few friends and family members the watch and they were impressed as well. When I see a gen Roll, omega,Tag ,ect. Im not so impressed. The watch cost between 3.000$-7.000 for example. It better look good for that kind $$$$. To see a rep that cost in the neighborhood 200.00$$$ . Thats something completly different. Enjoy :D Mike

  2. Welcome Vitin. I'm also fairly new to RWG. At first it can be quite overwhelming. The information here is like nothing I had ever seen before. There is a passion here that is so genunie. Welcome to the wonderful world of timepieces. :) Mike PS Want to buy watch? :D

  3. The pic is of Ubi's PVD'd Pam .. it is awesome !! the DLC is what the Breitling Black Steel is coated with.. the DLC coat is proven to strengthen the metal by 80%

there are pics on one of the sites of the actual procedures for both.. and video's of various uses.. ie. they are now using the dlc coatings in Race engines (parts)..Cars .. Jet engines .. anything that could gain an advantage by adding durability without gaining a lot of weight.

Tremendous infomation. Thanks again :) Mike

  4. Thanks for the poast Lanikai :tu: very informative. I'm about to have a hand made strap done by Vintagerstraps. I was looking at the buckle selection. The choices are Polished SS, Brushed or PVD. I'm like WT@#$% is PVD. There is know explanation on the site. Thanks to you I know what that is now. :) Mike. PS The pic of your watch? Absulutely beautiful.

  5. :welcomeani: Ben. All the information you could possably imagine is literaly at your finger tips. Like Chubb said "try the search function" I had so many ??? when I arrived here. I can honestly say that every ??? I had has been answered.(for the most part anyway) A lot of reading and research. The funny thing is know matter where you end up on this forum, you will definitly learn something. Happy hunting :) Mike
  6. Welcome Maxim. Do I smell a copy right infringment issue here. :p I also have a Tag formula and a older gen Omega. The Omega was given to me by my father about thrity yrs ago. The watch still keeps very good time. B) I thought members were joking when they said this hobby was addicting. Trust me, they were telling the truth. There should be a warning lable.(could be habbit forming) ;) Good luck :) Mike

  7. Welcome Freakin, like the name btw. ;) I am also a Omega man. I have a older gen that still keeps excellent time. :good: I'm very new to the rep world. I thought instead of jumping in with both feet, I would take the conservative approach. I orderd a PO chrono (quartz )from Andrew @Trusty Time. It is a very good looking watch and so far it keeps perfect time/date. I am now looking at the Pam Regatta with Power reserve and date,44mm. Although; I favor Omegas, I like some varitey in my rotation. Again welcome to RWG and good luck :) Mike

  9. Welcome to RWG. All I say is "please do the research". Members would rather not answear this question for a number of reasons. There are several dealers on RWG. The dealer thats right for you, only you can decide The main reason you wont get many replys to your "who has the best bla bla bla" is this. There are members here who have given many many hours of there time to help us new comers. The information here is stagering. All these members ask in return is to read the material that they have so unselfishly given to this community. Dont you think thats a resonable request? I have seen members bend over backwards to help another member. This is with out a doubt the most friendly community that I have ever come across. :slap::black_eye: We try to have a sence of humor two,I think ;) So welcome and get to the research, it realy is a lot of fun.Good luck :punk: Mike
