  3. @Big_Dane, you should order a pound of this stuff, you'll never go back. http://ravensbrew.com/dmr.html
  4. Hah, now I bet your phone's dictionary is perfectly happy with strange acronyms. Let's see if your autocorrect changes it to LOLex next time you type that famous watch name.
  5. Well said Mike. Our Boss runs this place out of his pocket and it's a pretty cheap price we pay to keep the servers humming. Pony up boys, let's send the Boss a nice year end check. Everyone can use some help this time of year.
  6. Welcome....... to the Dark Side She's a beauty, and that black on black will wind up being the winning combination years from now. Subtle elegance never goes out of style.
  7. Yeah that's cheap as chips for a big name gen. I have more than that tied up in the Big Gonzo. Although.... I'd rather spend that on a plexi 809.
  8. Welcome aboard, glad to have you!
  9. (I'm wearing a watch in the photo, honest!)
  10. There's some fine shots there, and better watches. Welcome aboard gents.

  13. 4 degrees today, perfect for a Snowflake.
  14. The blue is odd for sure. Probably 95% of the beasties will never even get wet, and of the other 5% a tool user will be timing with the bezel anyway. So I guess it's not a "hit" but also not a "miss". Bet it will strike up conversations with the fairer sex tho.....
  15. Mine date to 1964 and still look pretty good. I'm suspect too.
  16. I had the paint come off my Doxa bezel all the time. Clean it thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and paint black hobby paint over the numbers. When it's completely dry use a wood match stick to scrape the overpaint from around the numerals. Easy and fun to do. I used Testors black enamel.
  17. Oh man, we definitely need more pictures of that!!
  18. An old sign in our carbon dioxide laser lab at school: EYE PROTECTION: Keeping the "eyes" out of "cauterize"
  19. H2 Kawasaki at the Isle of Man. I mean... GOOD LORD. IMG_8683.mp4 Okay, okay, okay..... "ear" -------> "Van Gogh"
