Hey gents, which AP Bands strap is closest to the OEM strap color? the doctored up photoshop pics of the watch make it look chocolate brown, but looking at real life pics, it seems more dark brown. I really can't tell, and my local Audemars Piguet dealer obviously does not have this watch in stock to compare (there is a lonely original version white date rubberclad rosegold for $52k). I've got a spare black hornback that I'll try with the watch, but I would like a brown one like the OEM version. I would get it with black stitching. Your thoughts? Thanks! PS. @A: an 8 for you? Hello Gents, Here are some quick pics of my Zorrolondon modified AP Grand Prix Rosegold. First off, in person this watch is STUNNING. It is hard to capture the essence of it with my crude photos here. Suffice to say, this watch is really special in the flesh. Paired with an OEM Grand Prix strap, this watch is over the top!! Hello gents, I'm thinking of picking this one up during my gold fever spell. I have a spare AP Bands black Hornback that I'd like to fit to the watch. Wish I could find a photo somewhere online of this watch with a black Hornback.

I was at Westime in Beverly Hills a few weeks ago. They had one Rosegold Rubberclad (original one with white date) with a price tag of $55k. They have gone up in price and have reached collector status pricing recently. The older rep is very very close to OEM compared to the genuine watch in person. They had one rosegold GP that was sold earlier that day for a princely sum of $72k. The buyer paid ca$h! The watch was in the store for less than a day before selling.

This rep is utterly gorgeous. I just picked one up and I cannot get myself to take it off. I have no idea why I have waited so long to pick up a rose gold rep. This AP is incredible in person!

A nice rep? If it's indeed the same rep as from '05 (with the odd rainbow hue bezel), then it is crap. I have it. And it looks to be the same watch from '05. The crystal is cheapo mineral and the bezel is just silly looking with its bizarre discoloration. The bracelet is decent as mentioned above. The watch is much smaller than OEM. I bought a genuine IWC rubber strap and it does not fit (genuine strap is larger than this poorly executed much smaller approximation).

I have two V2 watches that are serviced & superlumed + Ar'd crystals and date mags. I'm holding on to one of them until I can get a V3 to send to Uwe.

Nice choice! I have the NLA black dialed version that I bought new a few years ago. I mounted it on a gen 22-18 croc. It's one of my favorite watches to this day. Been wanting to scoop up a white one. I think I might just do so after seeing your lovely watch

Vintage Heuer 1550SG Bund. A real classic that is appreciating in value rapidly. It is a large 43mm diameter with a stunningly accurate Flyback Valjoux 230 mov't. I really dig mine!

Hi Vly! The Bund strap came with the Heuer Bund-Issue watch. The strap is a real one. I do know that Jürgen sells genuine Bund straps. The quality of the leather is different than the aftermarket Bunds. Cheers
