  1. My gen president is 24 years old. Today I build reps, for me and my customers. It doesn't make sense to buy a gen anymore. I buy rep daytona, and yachtmaster, and they look amazing. Many of my friends have those in gen. Honestly, for the price, why do I need a gen daytona and yachtmaster, mine look as good on the wrist as theirs do
  2. Rolex 36mm does look good on women. If your mom tried it, I think she would wear it alot. This is one of my favorites. Stunning in person, but not over the top. Ive sold dozens of these to women, not just this dial, but many variations. 99% use them for a daily beater. Months later, they tell me how much they love it
  3. The boys are correct. Gold is for a watch that is worn in rotation. However, I disagree on the diamonds. I have diamond bezels that after 2-3 years still look amazing. Of course that's not the case with all diamond bezels. Some of them, in a short time look really bad. So, buyer beware.
  4. If you want to send it to me I think I can fix it for you. So hard to diagnose when you're not looking at it. Im willing to bet it's something very simple. The bracket, or bridge that holds part umber 2784 in place, is also responsible for holding the calandor wheel down. Make sure it's not bent or loose. Also part number 462 gets bent up on the lip, that will let the date disc move to the left, and pop up.
  5. I pmed you Or direct matthew.wright@sbcglobal.net
  6. I do them. However I don't have a gold jubilee bracelet
  7. Is the glidelock clasp out all the way?
  8. This one. I can do it old style or new style. This one is gen dial, crystal, bezel, and crown
  9. I have that exact dial in stock. It is a gen. You can reach me at matthew.wright@sbcglobal.net. I can build that exact watch
  10. A quick check for you is to rotate the day wheel. Rolex rotates clockwise, while everything else, including eta rotate counter clockwise.
  11. I build both the ladies and the mans. I have pearl but only with diamonds. I can however get gen dials. I have a pearl white gen with sticks
  12. looks dented to me. Ask the seller
  13. Most of the time, you will find the groove for the o-ring in the bezel
  14. Oyster bracelet is the only one rolex uses
  15. EMS is still very good. This time of year what used to take 5-6 days is taking at least 10. Be patient, they are good and you will get your package
  16. Just saw you question about a 2836 in a rep case. You DO NOT have to cut the feet on a presidents dial. Simply notch the movement ring where the feet are. The feet on a presidents dial sit ouside a 2836-2. It's actually easier to mount a pres dial than a gen datejust dial. HELLO!! YOU SAW WHERE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CUT THE FEET ON A PRESIDENTS DIAL!!!
  17. The foot location is different. The conversion they did on the 3035 involved a new dial ring on the top of the movement. It also included the mecanisim to dive the day wheel. Very cool conversion. However, many dealers in dallas got stuck with them. When they opened the case they saw 3035 not 3055. After removing the movement, and I did a couple, the conversion was apparent. The ring on the top of the 3035 added height and had the holes for the presidents dial. It also increased the diameter of the movement. I have some aftermarket 18038 cases in stainless if that will help. They don't make them anymore.
  18. the 3055 will not fit in the 16000 case. However I did see some 3035's coverted to 3055, they will fit in a18000 case after the conversion,, just not the other way around.
  19. I do it with my dremal. Takes about 2 mins. Then lightly polish the edge. Looks really good
  20. As if the AD's didn't already have enough problems with the reps. LOL
  21. wow.Im building one just like it with a gen dial, only 2 tone
