  1. I did a little research some time ago and didn't find any specifications regarding superlume. It seems to be a well known term within the rep world but will be used for every lume that is more than the "usual" rep lume...so no definition, nothing specific...
  2. On my wish list right now: ...to be able to hold my promise...: "No new watch within the next twelve months!" So maybe next year: Tudor Hydronaut II Franken Tudor 79260 Gen or Franken...we'll what's on the market at this time
  3. This is my all-time favourite and I regret it so much having it sold This is my current favourite but I guess that'll change once my 1680 is back
  4. Funny watchmaker you have...there aren't any "specs" regarding what is superlume and what not... A Seiko Monster will always glow a lot brighter than most other watches and even brighter than your gen seamaster (had both so I can compare). If the lume was okay for you by the time you bought the dial then it should be okay still...as far as I can read/see nothing changed on the dial meanwhile. I'd say get rid of your watchmaker and be happy with a rep dial that glows like yours...standard lume on an average rep dial is a lot worse than what you have and superlume on a rep dial is mostly like "standard" on gens (still...there isn't any specification what to call standard and what superlume or else)
  5. Nice, blue, chunky and no Rolex today Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  6. Well...I tried online dating back in 1999 and had a lot of weired dates but some hot ones too so the experience wasn't bad at all But...I met my real love by the time I was ready to live my life all on my own...one day at a friends birthday fest...bang...there she was and still is...we're married since 10 years and have 3 kids, maybe a fourth one next year What I'd like to say is...if you're not "in peace" with yourself you'll never met the "right one" no matter if you try online dating, speed dating, whatever dating...you can have some fun, even some nice time but that's it...just my 2 cents
  7. hmmm...only that small...take two to make sure you're not still hungry afterwards
  8. argl...I shouldn't have a look in here...now I'm hungry like a wolf...think I'm going to hunt and slaughter a pizza or else
  9. 2 years ago I called out my Boss two weeks before I left the department He wore an ugly cheap 16610 rep...it was so easy to spot....maxi dial, "usual" sized hands, 93250 but with polished mid links, very bad pearl...canal street or cheaper I'd say...it was big fun for me to call him out in front of all his employees (he insisted that it was a gen 16610 and I enjoyably showed him the flaws)...he was and still is a big air-pump
  10. The dial and hands are different...but you can always just buy it and apply a LN insert to it. A lot of GEN LV are rumouring around with LN inserts so this won't be a tell
  11. I love the look of the BB but I just found out that I don't like wearing watches without a date...so no BB for me
  12. ... I guess that one isn't reped yet, is it?? I'd love to have it once
  13. ...shoes, shoes, shoes...I have about 20 pair but most of them look like this... At least the summer shoes Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  14. Hope so...I need a 1680 mk3 Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  15. Well...the bracelet isn't that bad. It's just not as good as the TC is and since the TC is that cheap there is no reason not to buy it . For the bezel I've no clue. It looks so good I'd no intention to change it Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  16. Trust me...it's worth it...and...if the links of your bracelet are solid (even the midlinks) than it's far off...a 93160A has hollow mid links just like a 93250 has. The TC bracelet feels really gen like and it's only 40something € to spend I never bought from WSO but there are some horror stories rumouring around. But besides this...the inlay shown isn't even close to gen...the inlay you already have looks much better
  17. Do never ever buy from Italy via ebay they say... Well...I did sometimes and never had been disappointed...buy the seller as always As for me I can say I wouldn't buy this crystal just because it's packed horrible, seems to be dirty and/or scratched and the wrapping doesn't look gen to me.
  18. There aren't any 16600 with polished links but the sides of the links are. Best is to buy a TC 93160a...the most genlike rep bracelet ever I would say Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  19. I take all my reps for swimming (Vintage Rolex and some modern Rolex). All modern had been tested (TD purchase), some before and some after which means that some where waterproof out of the box. The vintages are custom build and haven't been tested yet but will be some day...anyway...all will be taken into the water since I'm a 24/7 watchwearer I had a BP SD 16600 that was waterproof up to 100m out of the box. I had an Explorer II 16570 that passed the pressure test at 100m after getting some grease to the gaskets...same with a Noobmariner LV.
  20. sec@9 like stated in the first post...if anyone knows a source...just let me know...there has to be one
  21. I didn't realize that the Zenith 16520 had been reped too. I need a source for an a7750 16520 rep dial Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
