  1. Welcome to our community Peter, if you are on the Dutch forum you will already know some people here.
  2. Hello and welcome to our community.
  3. I only lasted 29 seconds of that. Bring back Archie Luxury, at least the guy behind that really knows watches
  4. Are these a new product? I haven't seen them before
  5. Welcome to our community. It seems s hard for me to guess what you may need to know, but we have a wealth of knowhow in the various sub sections and some deeply knowledgable members, so when you find yourself with a problem or question, if a search doesn't reveal the answer, a question probably will. Feel feel to share your watchmaking journey with use. There are a number of us starting to dabble as well as a good few fully qualified watchsmiths

    Some very impressive work.
  7. Of reps? I think it will have little bearing. My understanding is that China is by far the biggest market and driving force of reps. The combined sales through all the fora is between 10-20% of the rep market.
  8. The wine seems to have evaporated anyway.
  9. Welcome to our community and please feel very welcome to get involved. Let us know when your watches arrive, we love pictures.
  10. What are reps? I have no idea what this is about. We don't have a Brig, just a secure offshore facility run by Legend as a Black Op, so Admin has total deniability. Oops I didn't say that outloud did I?
  11. For some reason 3,6,9 dials have always really appealed to me. I recently looked at a gen Airking that had Mercedes hands fitted and thought it looked great. I'm also not sure about a salmon dial, I suspect seeing it for real I would either pass on it or really fall for it. Blue is a safer choice, I look forward to seeing that one built.
  12. I think there is some truth that watches in general aren't as hot as they were. In some ways that might be a good thing, Vintage Rolex models started to attract investors and prices have gone up and up. Some online blogs fed the flames and pushed other makes. As to RWG, well the content is driven by members, if members aren't visiting or are visiting but not posting or starting threads, then yes it will be quiet. I would encourage everyone to post. Tell us what is going on on your workbench, what is in your watchbox, what you have ordered/taken delivery of recently. It doesn't need to be a jaw dropping build to be on of interest.
  13. My brother above has a humility which tends to hide his considerable skills. If you need help to own a watch like this, you could do much worse than contact @misiekped
  14. You have some very interesting watches Brother. That is channelling SMP and PO, but enough it's own design to be distinctive.
  15. Hard you say? Would anyone really consider walking into a club house and without even saying hello, start a sales pitch? He may or may not be a scammer, that is still to be conclusively proved. He is however somewhat rude.
  16. He claims to be a member on other forums, with good reputation, in particular BZ. He is NOT registered on any forum under that username and if he was, it begs the question, why register to sell here rather than where he is know? He also just got a warning for abusive behaviour, namely calling our members children.
  17. Serendipity for us, bad karma for him. I started to really take an interest because when I first saw the name I thought it could be Dinosaur1 back fro the dead.
  18. As I assured you by PM, we are. I just pulled a 13 hour work day, legend works hard, Nanuq is very busy at the moment, Mike on a bike has a demanding job and I think Kernow has two jobs. We are also not in the same time zone i promise I will not let it be, but it might take a little time to sort. In the meantime sorry for the inconvenience
  19. I think the 7750 version hasn't had too much information posted on it because many guys are put off by the extra height, which looks and feels a lot on the wrist. Also I'm not sure it's advisable to run the chronos too often anyway, so there isn't much benefit over the frozen hand a six models, which are dimensional correct.
  20. @calvin951121 I don't know the answer to that, but those that do will better be able to help you if you give details on the watch. What model is it, which manufacturer and dealer and how old is it?
