  1. Good to know, I'm happy you got a workable solution
  2. Just bought a copy. When you go old school paper I want a signed edition please.
  3. First of welcome to the forum and please keep us updated on your journey. I probably know less than you about Day Dates, so I will leave the advice to others. There are a couple of guys I can think of who are known for modding these and both are Stateside, there are also a few guys in the US who would be able to help with repairs.
  4. Guys this picture thread is clearly generating interest and desire, any of you fancy having a go at some build threads? I certainly see Pam builds in my future and would like to read about some builds.
  5. Wow, I'd love to hear the story of how you hunted that little lot down.
  6. Big girls panties or Harvest Festivals as we always called them (All is safely gathered in) and Minty Bear swapping his bits, this is all too racy for me. I've had a very sheltered life
  7. That Sir is excellent and although slow has the advantage of being much less likely to end in tears. I congratulate you.
  8. Down (good to see you are back @docthor)
  9. I wonder how they are coping with the thread issue. I can't see buyers of the gen putting them in the bin after a week. I was wondering if there was a steel insert with the threads on.
  10. Yes, it can be a sod for binding as well. Is the gen a titanium thread? I know less than nothing about Breitling.
  11. The usual method for getting the bezel off is to work a craft knife blade under the bezel at each lug in turn and gently work it up. You might want to put some tape on the lugs to protect them. Expoxy is a type of glue, you will get it easily enough in any DIY/craft shop.
  12. Happy birthday. I love the cake.
  13. I've had a long hard day today, I'm reheating some food and I'm hitting the sack, but I think it was Geek I saw it on one or two days before it arrived here And it is on HF as well.
  14. I would like to help, but the problem and the solution remain the same as explained on your thread in other forums. If you are really stuck maybe contact a modder to do this for you.
  15. I received mine last week but was unable to post due to technical issues. Anyway a little late, a big thank you to @sputim for organising this and @dbane883 for sharing his discovery.
  16. Nearest I ever got to living in a trailer park was a week in a caravan in Scarborough as a kid. I am however a Geek.
  17. Well you would do if you ever read any of the memos before getting 3/4 of the way into the first bottle. She was specifically brought in to clean up in the Mods Lounge. No more flicking cigar ash on the floor, snort only in designated areas, it's quite refreshing actually, though there is still a lingering smell of elderberries. I understand she is like Nanny McPhee, if our need her but don't want her, she appears, but when you want her but don't need her, she has to go.
