off topic, but which crystal do you have on your sea dweller?

I suppose, I need to put an official build post up for the Ronin Rail 1665, but the SD has a Genuine "Service" T39. Think non-SUPER-dome.

That is beautiful! And is that a MK1 dial? With the 'L' in Rolex centered under the crown, it sure looks like one. Excellent job.

Very well could be. I believe it to be a Tritium Service Dial from that time period, but, WITHOUT the actual Tritium applied. Similar to Ubi's 1665 dial.

Welcome to the club Ronin! A beautiful job with all the satisfaction that goes along with doing it yourself. I am impressed and green with envy.

Colorado must be a hot bed for genuine Rolex parts. :whistling:

Thanks, and between the two of us we can confirm the NEW YUKI cases are problematic, but, this 3+yr ~old~ Yuki case went together flawlessly.

Now you just need to make it look old, send it up to Nanug for a bit of aging!

My MO is-- well maintained with a recently serviced look. But I won't hold back on wearing it any and everywhere. I have a new found respect for the 15xx based Rolex movements and case design.

@Ronin

I think that is the problem I have with my 1665 the calendar retaining is not the correct one. sometimes the date is out of position. Where to get one Hmmmm ;) by the way amazing watch you have.

That would not affect position, rather the actual mounting of the movement into the case.

Thanks for kind words again...
