  1. my suggestion -- go to AVS forum (they have subforums for plasma, lcd and dlp TVs) and read, read, read just like you would here when researching a new watch. best of luck deltatahoe
  2. random (& somewhat unrelated), but the panerai panerai panerai engraving looks very nicely finished on that movement....is this one of the older (nicer) versions of this 111e movement? regardless, nice quick tutorial pugwash deltatahoe
  3. just seeing this freddy; she's a real looker -- i like the no date comex -- it's something different than most of the other comex you see around congrats deltatahoe
  4. only two choices!! ok, here's my second guess -- E2683/3500 deltatahoe
  5. fantastic collection V (but of course you know that already ); if you want to update your post, the prada strap was made by jose tan (i know because i had one made by him too) a couple thoughts: -the patina on your mp PAV 99 really looks great -i need to pick up a cajun strap -- they look fantastic -after seeing those la spezia straps (love the cognac one btw -- i've never seen that before), i definitely regret trading you that black GeF la spezia thanks for sharing, deltatahoe
  6. i can't believe how many "i think the genuine is like this" comments have been thrown around in these thread. come on people -- this is how misinformation gets spread around. the gen dial is cream and the subdials are a different (more silvery) color, as you can clearly see in this photo of the gen... deltatahoe
  7. i agree with wheaton -- if he wanted that watch bad enough, no need to give you $2,000 cash before mugging you afterwards.... not to say you should have sold it to him though -- i think you did the right thing deltatahoe
  8. here are a couple pics....looks like this one would be pretty tough to replicate with any level of accuracy imho... deltatahoe
  9. i wouldn't say it if i didn't mean it PM me if you want to discuss travel plans....i'm out of town this weekend though deltatahoe
  10. @ubi, you and the mrs. are welcome to come visit anytime deltatahoe
  11. @TT, don't you want to come to sunny california instead of wintry colorado deltatahoe
  12. well not sure what to tell you re: this to be honest....if you're looking for the absolute cheapest price and are willing to take a gamble that you will not need ANY after-sale service, then i would say yes, go ahead and purchase the watch from paul. if you're willing to spend a couple extra bucks for better communication, assurance that you will be able to get problems solved in the event that they occur, i'd highly recommend going with another dealer. hope this helps; feel free to ask any other questions deltatahoe
  13. the oracle strap links fit my seconds at nine, but they are really snug -- be careful (and patient) when installing... deltatahoe
  14. you're confusing things -- seconds at six 7750s (such as those found in the daytonas) are a completely different issue altogether deltatahoe
  15. @fakemaster, do you have a really recent version of the chronomat evolution (mine is from a while back when they first came out; the AR on my chronomat evolution doesn't hold a candle to the AR on the new skyland & super avengers)? if the new versions of the chronomat evolution coming with the same quality AR as the super avenger & skyland avenger, i'm happy to update my post... deltatahoe
  16. thank you btw, the direct link to the post straight from ziggy's mouth is here... deltatahoe
  17. hmm....i'm a little surprised about the responses here -- i'm almost 100% certain ziggy has said that running the chronos makes no difference in terms of wear on the movement i'm i going crazy? or does anyone else remember this to be the case.... deltatahoe
  18. i'm really enjoying having all the RWG1 guys around -- makes for some good entertainment deltatahoe
  19. she's a real looker stephane congrats on a beautiful watch i think you'll be glad you picked a transitional version -- the 1570 is a great movements, but really slow to set if you have to cycle through more than a couple days great pictures as always too -- thanks for sharing deltatahoe
  20. my favorite part is when they showed the stamping on the end links & she commented: "and the serial number" deltatahoe
