Yeah, I remember the pain in the ass that was until someone told me.
I'm also glad I found this for my vintage Day-Date! That's a nice time saver in the morning.

There's also the issue of the screw down pushers on a PN dial. There's a lot of debate whether any genuine 3 color dials were ever fitted to a screw-down Daytona.
You can probably pick up a better bezel from that New York eBay guy (can't remember his name)

If you can swing it, I agree. Did it last year for one but I picked the seller to coincide with my destination. Same result. And with a used watch, no issues crossing back.
I always believed the red Daytona was urban legend. It's absolutely beautiful! a real attention grabber. You can only pull that off coming out of a Ferrari of the same color.
Update #2
Sourced a phong case that previously housed a 1570 but its still a no go... A few of you have mentionned the wrong calendar ring. Where can I source the correct one? I've been told its part 7956.
Thanks
Does anyone have experience removing the bezel and crystal off these? I'm planning to mod the green crystal by coloring the exterior edge of the crystal and want to make sure I don't break anything in the process!
Thanks
