  2. They are big. Good for tapatalk...mine should be here soon too. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  3. Many nice pieces there. Now wait a minute, is that Indyfanphil in a Kaepernick jersey? Indy fan?

  5. +1 on the "Swiss" upgrade. Been burnt twice on upgrading to Swiss. One was mix of parts and dead on arrival and the other was a nice A2836. Paid the up-charge for no reason. Last two OTB reps I specifically looked for dealer who had the model I wanted with the A2836 and not the fancy super clone or Swiss versions. Both arrived in good working order and are still keeping good time now. On pieces that I plan to keep or if the A movement dies, I would source a gen Swiss ETA either new or from M2M sales board.
  6. Must be a real burden managing all those parts. I can take some off your hands if you need:) Looking forward to seeing the finished products.
  7. Wow, what a beauty! Love that dial. What bracelet did you use? Mine is still being assembled....seeing this is not helping my patience. Really, really like this build. Very well done.
  8. 16750 My first real build which took months to source all the parts. Mymanmatt assembled this piece. Actually he assembled it twice....before it went for case mods and after. Cartel case modified by Rolex Addict 2836 movement Aftermarket bezel assembly, not sure where it is from. Matt had it and it worked well with this set up. Aftermarket hands lumed by cwazy1 Genuine dial lumed by cwazy1 Genuine insert Genuine crown Genuine crystal Genuine jubilee and gen end links Lovely piece, just needs some aging now.

  10. This looks really good. What a great deal. I have more than your cost invested in my 16750 franken. Up until recently I would have gone the same route and refurbished it. As I spend more time here I would be more inclined to leave it in its vintage awesomeness. As you stated though easy to change it back. Your friend have any more vintage Rolex's they want to sell?
  11. Thank you, I Bought it from another member. Not sure where the original watch came from. It was a stock rep modded by Big Dazza.
  12. My first Omega...this is a little vintage fix while the others are being built. I think I like it. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  13. Good to hear this worked out. Nice looking piece too:) Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  15. I received one of these a couple days ago and the set is truly amazing. Now I just need the rest of the parts to fit it to... Exceptional craftsmanship thanks to Joey B Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  16. Same here play golf all the time with a watch on. Reps and gens. One time a spring bar came out and watch flew but nothing broke. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  17. Still modern...vintage pieces in the works. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  18. So in the mist of the three builds a gen 1675 case has come up for sale which would finish off my GMT. And that is not one of the three builds. So much for the watch budget.... Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  19. Coffee shop analogy is funny. Most mornings I sit on my patio drinking coffee while enjoying a breakfast cigar and RWG. One of my favorite parts of the day. In fact I am enjoying a don pepin white label and mayorga coffee and RWG right now:). Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  20. CC could answer this better. I only know from reading his posts. Ivan made the beautiful dial in CC's big crown. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  21. Looks great. Cleaner lines. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  22. Gotta live the bag phone. I rocked one back in the day. Carrying basically a small briefcase bag with a cord coming out and a GIANT handset. BC is right on my bill back then was like $800 a month for a handful of calls. Also a couple of hard wired car phones. Then the brick, followed by the giant flip phone. All Motorola if I remember. I also remember when the StarTac came out. Mid 90's I think. A techno wonder at the time. Too funny. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  23. Keep coming back to look at this. I have very similar build coming. All my parts are with Matt for assembly. I will just keep staring at yours until mine comes.
  24. I recognize that vase....Matt's picture taking watch stand:0 You will be very happy Matt's work is exceptional.
