  1. datefont is very poor too bold too small wrong font off center
  2. This is a pretty cool thing to do and a good way for people like me to see your work. You just have to be sure to send it to people that are trustworthy so you know its gunna keep moving on.
  3. I just noticed this today actually and read all of The Zigmeisters tutorials he has posted. Its a great feature! Lonnie
  4. im considering a fiddy soon and would love to see a 111 or 127 on leather as a pass around! Please add me to the list!
  5. Yes the Noobmariner dial will fit into MBW 16610 case. Its an easy mod.. you just take the whole movement and dial and swap it into the MBW.. easy
  6. very nice!!! I love the strap. The Zigmeister does amazing work!
  7. i have a Fender Stratocaster... pre CBS.. from 1961 or 62. Sorry no pics becasue its in storage right now. heres a pic off the net.. its called the "Sunburst" Fender Strat pic
  8. And we wont even talk about Pugs pic of Klink... Check this out... They have it trained to run around the neighborhood and steal sporting goods from little children... The loot is then sold on ebay to help pay the monthly hosting fees... This picture was taken outside the RWG headquarters, near the area with the artificial snow brought in for nanuq.
  9. anti counterfeiting.. LOL like they wont be able to reproduce that raised lettering and the new little symbol. and going to pins in the bracelet? Thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard
  10. Have you guys not been reading? This watch is over priced and a MORE accurate rep can be bought from TTK for $100. Even the MBW 16610 is excessive unless you need the deep rehaut.. You can have a fully modded Noobmariner with gen triplock crown and tube and gen insert, modded crown guards etc etc for LESS than HALF the price of this Watchmaker9 submariner. My modded Noobmariner is STILL one of my favorite reps next to my 1665 double red. Just look at their older submariner they offer... nothing more than a "Noobmariner" F520117 watch and we all know it!! Get a noob from TTK and send it to your favorite modder to get it done up.. or better yet get TWO of them done up for the price of this ONE watchmaker9 sub that still needs the same mods done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lonnie
  11. Hopefully soon they will build a properly jewelled sec@6 similar to the new sec@3 movement.. when this happens I wil consider another Daytona... but I strongly urge all members to avoid the current CRAP sec@6. Trust me i learned the hard way.

    MBK 5513

    This is what I use...
  13. Gen crystal wont fit MBW16610 Only the vintage MBW's accept gen crystals. Gen bezel insert will fit MBW16610 but may need some minor sanding to get an exact fit Lonnie
  14. HAHAHA this thread is hilarious LOL Do you guys have any pics of the mods and admin from RWI? haha this could get really good....
  15. haha why dont you wear the Casio? Whens Rolex gunna make an Atomic watch? lol I set my watches according to the time on my Blackberry (network time)
  16. hhmmm well Nanuq probably threw his off the roof of his house in hopes to add more wear and tear to the case and enhance the "vintage" look As for your noob.. the second hand is still attached, but stops after 15 seconds.. yet it still keeps perfect time? I would suspect a gear knocked out of place or broken. Is it an Asian movement or ETA movement? If its an asian then it might just be cheaper to buy a new watch for $100 and sell the one you have for parts. Someone will buy it for the dial and bracelet no problem. If you have a replica-friendly watchmaker in your area then he can have a look at it.. If its ETA then its probably worth fixing. Maybe The Zigmeister has an answer for you, afterall hes our resident watch master.
  17. interesting.. i wouldnt buy it but i cant wait to see it
  18. I've never done this haha.. maybe i am the only one... as long as its close then its good enough for me
  19. thanks for posting this Rob. I love to see these types of watches becasue its not something we normally see here! I've always liked the bubblebacks even though it isnt a model i would ever purchase.
  20. WOW guys those are amazing pictures! good work!
  21. i think the idea of a "vintage mods" subform might be the way to go.. we could show pics and as well post tips on how to age that Breitling strap or DRSD caseback... Right now this information is scattered over many subforums and sometimes difficult to find.
