    We have trusted dealers for a reason. If one is lying or cheating I think we should know. If it continues their status as a TD should be revoked. I hope you get it sorted.

    I do not have a pattern or rather one dealer who stands out, sh*t happens not all this blatant . Rest assured if any of or dealers was consistently pulling stuff I would act.

    Way to piss on my thread.. again even on another forum ;).

     

    On: To add to the answers though, all TC's are comparable. Only differences would be the adding of new parts by TC or the owner. A V6 isn't a new watch compared to the V5. It are all just upgrades TC brings to an already solid base. Does this justify an increase in price? yes and no, it al depends on what the market wants. Are they great upgrades? Definitely

    Why the sub in the link you mentioned is priced higher than a new v6 is the price of a new gen insert, extra bracelets, waterproofing and a swiss movement compared to the asian clone.

    Checked it out NICE ,put in Swiss movement the V3 bracelet V2 clasp ETC( the verdict still not in on if the new one beats this combo) . The market will decide the price but a lot effort ,time and money to get these parts so really comparing apples and oranges.

    Well as far as service ,I get in three days and I never need to fix a problem watch,back it goes if not right in any way. I can go to an AD to try stuff if I like and I do on occasion but rather have it brought to me and send back for 8 bucks . Do they just take it back no questions asked full refund on the houses money not mine, that is what I call service.

    "You know if you buy from certain online dealers (Watchery, World of Watches, Joma, ETC) you get 30 days to return no restock fee put on bill me later no money put out  or no interest W/ 6 months to pay.. So no $ out of pocket try it on ,no like send back 6-8 bucks shipping they credit Bill Me later no cost there. Some go out buy the Rep to try out I get the Gen ,much cheaper and it is the actual watch!"

     

    Posted this another thread on that flyback I bought, went back. So did the other the Glycine Men's Incursore Chronograph and the Clerc, guy did not have right links so again back it went. In the case of the Clerc I would have been the recipient of those significant resale loses  you speak, wish he had the links. Using the above method and searching high and low for those deep internet discounts Panerai153 referenced is my modus operandi.  I keep my outlay to zero and loses to minimum.

    Hey Mike, how would you compare the scratch resistance of teg to Seiko diashield, or Citizen duratect treatments?  Those two are super scratch resistant from all I can tell. 

     

    Also, I really like watches with DLC treatments, but they seem to be all black.  I would love to find a great sub like diver with DLC on bracelet and case, maybe sapphire/ceramic insert, and of course sapphire crystal, without breaking the bank, haha!
