May very well be. It was sold to me as a V5 TC. Pid a lot for it and its quite nice as it sits, but I wanted it for a franken build and thats nott looking too good lol

Dial is flush to the movement and no areas looking out of place. It seems the movement sits too high in the case. Even the movement screws are out tobthe last thread to keep the movement in place. Odd.. I'll try fitting it again and see what happens. Cheers and thanks fellas

Hey guys, i purchased this watch about a year ago as a TC sub. It looks and feels great in person aside from the bezel being stiff and missing the clicking. (Seller disclosed this prior) it came with a TC case with a TC insert in it and apparently the one in the watch is a gen and so is the crystal and crown. I took out the "TC" dial movement and stuff and installed a gen movement dial and hands.. but the crown wasn't sitting right in the case when not screwed in. Odd as it looks the right height from a quick look. The case is sterile between lugs and markings in the case are great. But doesn't seem to fit a gen movement for height. Can anyone tell me what this actually is ? It's not fitting my gen movement so I'm getting rid of it if I can identify it. Going to buy a V7 TC for the parts.

Not quite sure how much, I'd say roughly $3k I don't really keep track. $2k for the serviced 3135 $800 for the plat dial $140 hands $100 crown $?? Tube ( I have a few of them kicking about ) $175 gen crystal bought the 16622 with a serviced and modded yuki movement. I think that cost me $850 but I have the movement now sitting in my watch box. So if we add the above up we are closer to $3500+

Hey guys, out of your experience with the dealers, who would you say is the fastest to get a watch to North America. I need a noob V6s ASAP. I messed mine up removing the bezel and it's driving me nuts and I hate that I have this build just sitting there now waiting a new case. also a quick question. I have a v6s now and out of the v6 and the v7 what would be better for an all gen aside from case and bracelet build ? Cheers C

Need some opinions, I just finished this yesterday. And looking for another set of eyes for small details that need work. I know I need Crown guard work, just not sure if I should just replace it with something far better Than the DSN ? i have Its a DSN newborn case, I have another that I have re shaped a lot but it has the wrong crown tube and I was lazy yesterday lol Rolli 201A dial Jacob 201 case back Matt C3 non ar crystal Swiss (apparently) 6498 with the proper pre V markings Dirk olive green shark skin strap

The case is quite dirty and spiderwebby will be polishing it over the weekend. I think it's pretty damn close to the real thing in person minus the small ridges on the polished part of the bracelet that I will flatten and polish when I get time.

Nice one ! I fubar'd mine mine up removing the damn bezel lol got some shitty scratches around the bezel on the case now. Think I need to buy another v6s to move everything over. Ugh .... Thats what happens when I try to do something with a watch after a half a bottle of Dalmore King Alexander III haha

Finally finished my 16622 build this morning. God I love these ! Started as a Sean or TC case I'm not sure but it's now got all the guts of a gen 16622 Rolex 3135 rolex 704 crown and tube rolex xtal with lec rolex plat 950 dial Rolex gen hands not really sure where to go from here maybe some case work?? Any suggestions ? Cheers ! C.

Yea I know lol I have it there staring at me, so I'll probably install it tomorrow.. Have not slept in two days so I don't want to take the chance of breaking the insert while being absentminded lol

Just got home from work in Africa this morning and decided to assemble my 116610 v6s Franken. Build is v6s case, bezel and bracelet gen Rolex dial, hands, 3135 movement, 704 crown and tube. Have a gen ceramic insert but didn't have the focus today to tackle that part being jet lagged and all. Here is a few pics

I have some decent 002/009 dials I have removed to install Roli dials.. when I get home Thursday ill have a look. I have quite a lot of dials I don't and wont use. but like everyone has said above, rollis dials are amazing ! I have them in 5 or 6 watches in my case.

can someone PM me his contact info I need one of his V7 sets minus the guts lol I got shafted on a "TC" sub I bought from someone last year and its not a TC the crown doesn't sit right with a gen movement in it. im itching to get this assembled. cheers and thanks !

ohhh nice i want one ! just tried to fit a Gen 3135 movement, dial, hands, x-tal, crown and tube into what was sold to me as a TC last year sometime and the crown height isnt right i got taken... time for one of these to stuff those goodies into.

Huge metal guy here ! been listening to metal since the early 80's with i was a very little fella lol its been in my blood ever since. its hard to go to concerts these days though because my fiancee is a big R&B and hip hop type who doesnt like metal lol
