I'm trying to reach a watchmaker known as Zigmeister.  Word has it he has retired, but if anyone knows how to reach him, please PM me with that info.

There are other excellent watchsmiths in the forum who can probably fulfill your requests of mods. Get to know the members here, and get to know who to approach for help.

Some guy posted this watch on facebook and mentioned that it cost him a month's salary.

Can someone identify this watch and tell me that he does not mean he's earning $100 a month?

This is not a "kinda got screwed".. this is a blatant case of being fucked.

I would say that its a case of the seller knowingly and deliberately scamming you. 

50Euros is pittance and it allows the seller a convenient way of wiggling out of this. 

I would pursue it all the way if I were you. 

And yes I would support you on this, just let me know what help you need my friend. 

Is that an H fact diver? It does look abit deep, but as Mr.A said, there are varying degrees even in the gen. 

Hey J, talking about this, I saw my friend's gen diver the other day. It came with varying degrees of sunkenness on different bezel screws.. looks like AP can get sloppy with their QCs too..

I have seen gens with different degrees of sunkenness for the bezel screws as well, so it seems that this does vary from one watch to another. 

Yours look obviously sunken. Can I have a shot of the dial facing the camera directly to get another perspective?

As for the diamond markers, I think that they could still look very bling under the correct lighting conditions. 

You would be surprised how similar some crystals and diamonds look, especially small ones.

I, for one, would not be able to tell, from a distance of 10 feet, if someone's watch markers are real diamonds, swarovski crystals, cubic zirconium diamonds, or lab grown diamonds. I would just know that its bling and that the owner is either a lady or a rapper.

a. I am male and

Honestly, on the wrist, it is a challenge to tell which version a diver is, if you do not inspect it closely.

From pics in the forum, we can discuss to the moon and back about the minute intricacies, merits and flaws of each version.

But on the wrist in real life, we tend to judge by looking at the person wearing the watch, more than anything else.

According to some dealers, The updates are supposed to be :

"Updates are the inner bezel numbers , better case finishing , recessed screws , rubber strap slightly better then Noob"

The inner bezel numbers seem better indeed..check the "50" in 5.1 and in the new version and you'll easily see what I mean

Of course ,they have been some complains about the buckle..that it's a step back and that good as in 5.1

I already have one en route to me and I'll write a small review when I receive it....

Not a major update if you already have the 5.0 or 5.1 version....

Actually, I have the v5.1, and the "5" and "0" are very close, but do not touch on mine.

My friend owns a v5.1 from a later batch, and the 5 and 0 are pretty much stuck together. See the pic.

I am contemplating whether to get the v6.0

What are the real differences vs the 5.1? It seems that the strap and buckle have been upgraded, and now it has a "correct crown guards shapes" and better lume on inner bezel? I am not aware that the previous versions all come with incorrect crown guard shapes? 

I wonder if the AR on the cyclops has been fixed...

What do you guys think? 

If Legend says "No need to suspect, this is 100% a rep. The hands pinion, rep deployant clasp, and date window position gave it away." it is a rep , we have our Rolex guys and our AP guys ,he is the later.
