Not a TD here, the Tiffany is $179, the others $149. The website isn’t working properly. If you like what you see, PM me I have her telephone number

Beautiful and beautiful pictures. A slightly modified AP Diver is a great rep, especially considering that the gen movement has a reputation for being less than bomb proof and is expensive to fix. I see one in my near future and blame you and @Legendfor that?

TPS-Tempus were selling some sweet Seiko Tuna Homage watches a few years ago. Titanium cases and quartz movements. At the time I was going through one of my “I despise Quartz” moods and didn’t get one. Now I’m thinking it wouldn’t have been that hard to put a 7s26 in it. Anyway, glad you got sorted. I just found this http://www.tps-tempus.com/?p=140 Maybe I didn’t miss the boat on the titanium Seiko. Also see under the picture “2016-11-12 - River” Looks like it is River then

I believe the seven months wait wasn’t the worst part of that story brother.

You got one brother, that was quick.

@LifeTrekker to minimise Customs risks it is doing Europe as a block, since we are all in the same Customs area. Then probably CONUS next, then maybe Asia or who knows. It was very careful selected for it’s handsome looks and being Quartz is a bonus considering how much of the postal system it has seen already. Stick around and maybe it will get to see North country snow. In the mean time you can always post the wristies you can’t post elsewhere? Alternatively the genuine watch is a steal at only $85,000

Did you see @docthor write up about his pair of slim 7750s?

Really? Oh dear that doesn’t leave many options does it? I thought 1655 and 1675had the same spec mid case, is this a peculiarly of the the particular rep then

Parnis use this skeleton 6497 in some models, it could be worth seeking one out Alternatively you could buy the movement and put or have it put in a Pam case with a display back

Hello brother. Good to see you here. I will dig out a 6538 build thread by our brother Dbane and send it you. Believe me it is unreal Here you go Talk about grail watches, that is mine. I want it more than I want a genuine 6538

I’m very fond of old Omegas and have a few. The 561 is a beautiful movement, I’ve always liked the rose gold finish and the shape of the rotor. The case back looks genuine to me, but wrong period. I would have expected a sixties model to have more of a 3D observatory and that centre piece in gold, but why the hell would someone refinish the inside? You are a man of great integrity, most would have no hesitation in banging that on eBay as all genuine Old Connies are amazing value IMO

Invest in a sticky ball from eBay. They are only a couple of Dollars and open case backs surprisingly well

Ah, welcome to the thread Bart, I’m sure we have enough music heads to keep this thread running and running. You should do a write up on your HiFi as well, I love to read stuff like that. -

What do you listen on? Are you a vintage audio and vinyl freak. There are a few of those here. -
Hello and welcome to the forum. A tiny island in Asia, doesn’t sound near any of the Watch makers I know. I have heard of people putting a tiny bit of grease on the rotor bearing. I’ve heard others say it has no great effect. Hopefully others will have more direct experience. I think with care, you could probably do it yourself. @Legend any suggestions on a Singaporean watchmaker brother?

Smallest/biggest watches youve owned & wore?

I wouldn’t touch either. I have a real thing for holes in the lume on hands and as the big guy says, it’s hard to reproduce convincingly -

When you buy your first lume kit, you will be able to fill the 12 marker too. It ain’t a big job to repaint the black minute marks. Boom! job done. -

Prog rock gets a good amount of airtime in my ivory tower. Pictures at an exhibition and Fanfare for the common man. As well as Jethro Tull, which is either Folk prog or Prog folk (Spinal Tap oblique reference). Number one girlfriend likes Focus. Hocus Pocus greatly amused all the kids when they were small.
