  1. no int here if i get busted whit that on the streets i get 1000$find and maybe also jail time but it looks damn nice that i must say :)

I have a automatic from as way back as 1960's its long as hell, you woud love it TTK i will try find time to get it and photograph it,since its illegal i dont keep it at home but at a secret place :whistling:

  2. Thanks Dani.

I see what you mean, and it's no excuse, but this was supposed to be a 2km drive to a couple of his girlfriends. He does not have a licence, I doubt he has much experience with bikes, and he probably drove in a sweater and jeans. It's probably done 1000s of times every day in Norway, but he caught a bad break. Wrong place at the wrong time.

It's not so much the fear of death that gets to me, but knowing that I don't want people, particularly my daughter, feeling this way about me if I catch a break like this.

When you have kids like you i can fully understand your mindset, its just like my uncle he dont buy a bike because he now he will drive fast and risk not seing his kid grow up.And he is a MarineJeger ;) They are not so easy affraid,so whit people that have kids its more the familiy that sets the limits not the fear of death for yourself.

But in some people their mind set is like a racing driver its just something else and to bad as my mom says i have it :bangin:

  3. I feel for and think about your cousin he will pull trough like true viking.I think i read about it in news paper today :(

Its strange but i dont lose the lust do drive fast even when i see crasy stuff happens like this or bikers getting crashed down by cars or worst case dies.

I follow a line of you only live one time and do the best whit it dont run around being scared of die then you will forgett to live.

I almost never ride whitout full racing leathers i only buy the best in protectiv gear,if riding whitout its sloooow riding.

    Regards,

    Dani

  4. Congratulations on your new watch, Dani! Nice choice! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

The king of Quartz watches.. ( besides the Omega X-33 of course! :p )

Just like with old second hand prestige cars, like Bentley, Rolls Royce and Porsche.. The may be cheap to purchase, but cost of parts and service takes some of the joy of the ownership...

    Thanks :)

  5. This is sick... and shows me to never buy a genuine Breitling. Paying 460US$ for two 5$ batteries is way too much to ask. I don't think these are special batteries in there - most probably any watchmaker can change them. I would try that before I think of feeding 460US$ into a companies mouth that obvoiusly needs to rip people off... And I always thought Breitlings were a good bang for the buck...

I dont regret one moment to be onest but i see your point 100% its just stupid that they need to ship it to breitling to change 2 batteries and the cost plus time ti whait is just sick.

But again its just have it is good service history will give back to you when re selling.

  6. It was originally bred as a fighting dog. The American Pit Bull Terrier was bred from English and Irish Terriers and Bulls. Bulldogs were not only farm dogs but were bred for Bull-Baiting. Pit Bulls were bred for pit-fighting, adding terrier to the bulldog as bulldogs diodn't want to fight each other. The name really does say it all.

Once the US started to expand west, the dogs were then taken to the farms where they had the owner-killing beaten and culled out of them, as is the norm with all breeds.

Now, this very history is what makes the kind of person you don't want owning this kind of dog want to own this kind of dog.

Sure, BSL is stupid, but we put the killer in the breed and have been trying to dial it out and back in and out again for centuries.

You can say what you whant about what it was made for becasue you are right Puggy.

Dobermans where breed for scaring the shitt out of people other dog breeds are breed to attack humans,so what its 100 of years ago.

Shall we just ban them all or thake a look on the real problem the person whit the leash?

I em for owners to be 100% responsibel if the dog do harms to others that woud scare of ALOT of bad dog owners..

That law is not hard to set in place either. :)

  7. Ri-i-i-ight. Why is the Pitbull the number one choice for illegal dog-fights?

Seriously, I understand BSL is a bit silly, but why do irresponsible owners choose this kind of dog? This is the very crux of the matter and to ignore it shows an unwillingness to debate the real issue.

Oh, an interesting statistic: un-neutered male dogs apparently account for 96% of all fatal dog attacks.

They choice this dogs because of bad media atention and rap artist showing them off.

Why we never see this problem before late 1980's??

German shepards, dobermans, rottweilers have all been blacksheeps of the dog world in the past, latest 20years it has been the pitbull.

Dogs shoud not be banned becasue they are prey for criminals and thugs, banning them will only make the serious owners to harm, the criminals and thugs all dont cear about the law.

  8. Who cares about the beacon....

The fun really starts when you run low on juice from the batteries with this thing.

A friend of mine has a Breitling Emergency.

He thought it was pretty cool until he had to get new batteries (yes, there are two in there).

He took it to the AD and guess what.... they had to send it in.

    Final damage: $460US.... :Jumpy:

So don't you play with those nice LCD's too often.

Yupp i now its costy as hell, but in the end i now my AD he is a friend of the familiy so i will get it cheap i hope :g:

In Norway a gen croc leather band from AD cost 500$ :black_eye:

    Cheers,

    D

  9. So does that thing emitt some sort of ID signal too - I mean putting the beacon out and in wouldn't hurt... No one's gonna know.

Anyway, nice watch and nice pics.

You have to pay since the watch is registerd to your name and as i see it no way to get out if you trigger it.

But its easy to avoid i bought this watch becasue i have always whanted to be a pilot and this was the ultimate breit in my eyes also.

    Cheers,

    Dani

  10. Very cool narrative, Dani.

Now let's see some wrist shots!

    134808-18388.jpg

So, what happens if you trigger the Emergency homing beacon when there is no real emergency? Do you get into trouble/fined?

depends on what area you do it and so on but from 15000 to 45000$ ticket is a reality.

    Cheers,

    Dani

  11. If it's the kind of dog that attracts irresponsible owners, then of course it's going to banned on their actions.

Face it, no-one needs attack dogs as pets. I see them the same as rednecks' over-the-top .50cal rifles.

Pitbulls are family dogs not attack dogs.

I em against all form of getting dogs to be human agressiv if they are not militare or police dogs.

Ban pitbulls why??When the dogs breed for attacking humans are not :g:

First dog in the white house gues what a PITBULL..The list goes on..and on..

  12. It's not about which dog it is. it's about which kind the owner is.

In my opinon it's insane to make a certain dogbreed illegal. Instead it should be possible to forbid by law some people owning a dog. An example could be if a person uses the dog in dogfights which is rather common here in Denmark amongst certain groups. Then the dog should be confiscated and the person shouldn't be allowed to own a dog ever again.

This also is what i hope that dogs in general get more regulated so bad owners get more and harder punishment.

This days the only victims even when police find people ho fight or train dogs to be used as wepons are the dogs, sad stuff.

  13. Hey all

  14. http://www.americanpitbulldvd.com/

Hope this film when it comes out opens the right eyes so we can stop BSL laws.

Its not justified to hurt pitbulls more then they already are going true,by banning and killing them.

Here is the last victim to BSL in Norway :( The dog is a puppy on the photo did nothing wrong then runnig after some kids and one of them falls and breaks a legg, hummmm strange the dog did not kill or bite them when he falled if the dog was so dangerus :g:

    134136-18554.png

When i see my own dog and i myself now have good this breeds are against humans i just cant bring myself to undertsand have a breed can be banned based on human actions,if this is a legal cause to ban something then guns, knives, tobacco, alchol all shoud have been banned LONG time ago.

  15. Congrats Dani! So you got this watch... again?

I was going for the black but that woud just remind of have dumb i was to sell it
