Aquaracer chrono is one of my all time favorites. The rep is good but nothing beats the gen... great watch and I love mine.
-
What a beauty!
Welcome to RWG!
-
SMP chrono is actually my oldest rep currently. I will never trade it, it's one of the nicest watches out there (gen or rep). Excellent macho design and wrist presence (while still being moderately sized).
-
Classic Sub today.
-
I like this watch so much that I have considered a gen.
However the rep is mighty good... I love mine.

Starting this busy weekend with the black Explorer II.
-
Very cool Robert. I really like those UN:s thanks to RobbieG's posts.

Pepsi for Thursday.

Are the drilled lug holes compatible with the dial that is currently being used on the WM9 V2?
Yes, because Rolex produced SELs + lugholes + superluminova combo for many years (before switching to no lugholes).

Black 42mm PO simply rules!
Such a great watch... enjoy!
-
George said that he can only build 3 LV a day!!!!???
That's FAST... since it takes a year from Rolex to build just one.
-
This is the answer to your question. Happy hunting!

i think the rehaut engraqving is not as good as the gen one . I have to reconsider buying it or not.
The engraving is tough to get done well. The black 16610 was available with and without... how about this one?
-
Usually, when something goes missing it's because one of my kids ran off with it
I guess it's cool... as long as they don't run to a pawn shop with them.
-
I agree with my friend Watcher. WM9 is SO good.
And being a GMT fan I'd much rather spend the same money to 16710 with much more sophisticated movement and a genius GMT complication. 3135 doesn't really offer anything that ETA reps don't have.
But then again how can you argue against the most legendary diver's watch ever made? People can say whatever they want about Rolex but it's stil... well... a Rolex. If you're a huge Sub fan like Stephane... why not? Otherwise go for WM9.
-
Maybe a silly question but where can i buy this rep ? And have any of you experience from one of the dealers who sell this rep ?
Thanks !
Might be difficult. This review is very old and I've heard rumors that the 4th gen is difficult (if not impossible) to source any more. Lots of members would like to see "ultimate" 42mm version but it never got out.

Damn... that's pretty nice looking SMP franken.
Good luck with your search man!!!
-
What's wrong with those markers? I don't see them being "crooked".
The watch looks really good to me... just as good as the black 16610 but with better end links. Probably not very realistic to except anything more from a rep, huh?
-
Ditto... congrats TeeJay!
Wearing my "Polar" Explorer today.
-
My old man has one too. I love the no-date.
-
That's really beautiful. Both watch and the pictures!
Thanks for sharing Lani.

I've said it before. The trick is to be happy with what you have... and not what you don't have. It's been almost a year since I bought a new rep. But I'm very happy with my collection... I don't have to buy new watches all the time.
Au contrary, I think it's an ideal situation if you already have all the watches you always wanted.

Ugly is ugly, if you can point the beauty of a 2 CV out i will remove it.
The <edit> button is on the lower right corner.

Ah... now I got it. It was about the Olympics. Boy I feel stupid now.
But then again it's the first time ever when South America gets to host the Olympics. I guess it's only fair.
