Ok.. we can take away the fact that the watch is a rep... If it was a genuine same opinions?
:yucky: still tacky IMO
-
I think it looks wanky... like you're trying to show everyone your watch....
LOOK AT ME... I HAVE A (FAKE) PANERAI ON!!!
(jumping up and down putting your watch in their face)

Yes... welcome to the world of sales. Get used to it :-(
Just sell to people you know and trust... don't waste time on cherry pickers
More complete explanations of the watch may help, but yours seemed pretty good, you're just gonna get that.
Just wait til you start trying to sell straps my friend!
-
nice gf, but still needs a strap ;-)

Free is a problem for me... I just don't feel any value with it... It's nice, but I always feel something is or will be missing.
NOD32... the best hands down AV available. small and not in your face, does the job brilliantly:
The 30 day trial is free!

They really ALL go well with the 111... I have a genuine 091, which has a grey anthracite dial. It comes with a Ti/SS bracelet out of the box, and no strap whatsoever.
I was worried about matching straps with the dial, which virtually changes color depending on the angle and lighting of the situation... No strap really goes with it, until I started experimenting.
I started with the black shell cords, different stitching, tried a violet shell cord (very nice.
I tried a few grey monitor lizards, one with black stitch, the other white. These went the worst with the dial IMO, where I thought they would be perfect.
I just recently got a few BOB vintages and they were wonderful, extremely comfortable with the buckle in contrast to the deployant clasp on all my others.
With the 24/24 looking a lot better to me, and the added comfort, I bought a natural and black europelli baseball straps... The natural has developed a very nice patina and gets a lot of use now.
In the end, this watch that I thought would be very difficult to match a strap to has been transformed into virtually a new watch daily with a wide variety of straps...
I think it will depend on your personal preference and how YOU want it to look. I'd suggest getting a light colored strap that will darken with age (baseball comes to mind) and a dark strap with white or beige stitch. Then get more as your appreciation grows... You could become addicted very easily like veni and me lol

Mine loves hers too

Yes, more exposure, but I still wish I had your money ;-)

You know I'm in!

You're joking, no?

That is one amazing looking watch.... From the design, it looks to be very expensive. I'm in for the rep lol :-)
-
I really like them... hope they come to a store near us soon

Ken
Hey Leave my hairy-assed gorilla arms outta this... at least he don't have my face

I've got all three... black shell cord, natural bb, and black bb, They are all beautiful straps.
I would say the shell cord would be the most durable, the BB straps are softer and more comfortable.
The shell cords will lose their shine over time and I have had two shrink in width by 1mm, which drives me absolutely nuts.
Get both, then you have a choice what to wear.

Well... Jjajh & Nanuq are definately on the right track... I'm on my third (and hopefully/probably last) marriage, with countless mistresses/girlfriends/whatevers in between.
Trying to hold onto something that broke apart for whatever reasons before is risky business at least... and the stakes are both partys' hearts and souls.
I am now just contemplating moving here to Thailand to help the kids... who are poor poor poor, but have the biggest smile in the world when acknowledged and rewarded for their trying...
Nanuq is so right when he talks about being hooked.... It's the best feeling in the world. Unfortunately, I can only be dependable a few times a year at the moment, but it's a start.

You'd have to want a $550 watch pretty badly to pay $1000 for it.
You're damn right there I'm going to give that one a miss because of their 'high non-japanese customer price'...
I didn't check the website close enough to see this, thanks for pointing it out... I'm definately not into that kind of treatment and will bring it to their attention with a request for the 2 counter model at normal prices.
-
OK JB... To get that feeling again, you've gotta take some sql_pl/rocket style photos of her buns up kneelin' (remember frank zappa?) with some watches draped across her back... or front
-
Well, although I started this thread and intended to purchase it around that time, there was some kind of problem with my credit card, plus I was going away on holiday, so I didn't go through with the purchase.
I also really wanted the two counter model, as I think the 3 counter is a bit busy, BUT I am still up in the air about it, but may go ahead...
I am still on holiday for another 2 weeks, and I will be asking those guts if the 2 counter model will be made in the future... will definately jump on that one!

so johnnyboy... who's the chick on the couch?

So how about a short story on the life and times of Paul and Aspire?
I'm sure it would make interesting reading and we'd be crazy not to miss it.
