    They're not charging you more for the movement... They are charging you more for the new watches they are coming out with.

    We always pay a premium for the latest design... They just got smarter and took advantage of that and made much more money with a less expensive movement.

    So we are getting screwed... a bit, but not as badley as the previous incarnation of the asian 7750.

    Saying that, I am very happy with the IWC GST chrono, seems as good as a swiss in regards to the smoothness and keeping time well within COSC specs.

    I guess that's what you get after mixing Indian food and muscles B) Actally... he wanted to try it on cuz he was getting sick of his rolex... Fugetaboutit!

    I really don't know where the strap came from, I got it in a trade with my TC195. There are no markings, but it's new. It has a beautiful soft suede lining.

    I don't even know if it is real croc, but I assume it is by the quality. Anyone know how to tell?

    that is probably the whole truth cracker, for sure, when i was butchered over there that was my final words to him , that i would bet more people with reps buys more straps than a guy with a genuine panerai

    There was a witch hunt thread over on either VP or P or maybe even both trying to out strap dealers selling to rep owners.... Now it's coming to their illustrious leader.

    Just goes to show you that kharma does catch up.

    I received one of his infamous letters, I replied and laughed it off...

    Personally, I have no ill will towards Elliot, some of his products are great (albeit some not IMO), and I'll buy what I like from him.

    As soon as he offers discounts on gen watches, I'm there!

    There are plenty of strap dealers out there who have excellent products and service, most of my straps are from Drew, just got a few from Christian.

    That guy (Kevin aka Prof. Bain) who said that for every three straps we buy is just one rep we can't is the biggest clown over there... what a poodle turd he is! On your tricycle poodle boy! :yu:

    Maybe one day you all will smell his roten breath. I rest my case!!! The man is a pig ho cant fly straight you just wait and see it has been proven all over and over again...

    C'mon spremmi... WTF can he do to you and me and veni etc etc as individuals? Nothing... So what, we own some reps, nothing wrong with that, and if there is something wrong with that in your country of residence, I seriously doubt that anyone will bother you...

    They are after BIG FISH... as in factories.

    If I was a dealer, I wouldn't buy from him for security purposes... But I'm not... He acted like a [censored] in the past, that's been explained to a point. I got a good deal on a few straps from him from his crazy sale and in the past too.

    I just don't know why you guys can't just let it go... He's just a friggin' watch strap dealer and we buy straps from him... it's not like we're buyinbg coke or heroine from the guy.

    And you talk about pride... How proud a man can you be not to forgive and let live?... This is yet another reason why there's so much war in the world.... You guys gotta relax :yu:
