  1. Hi,

So I'm new to all this and joined because I've started a new job that involves a lot of high profile client interaction, so I need to look the part with the right watch on my wrist.

Because of this I need to know the places to buy that has the best quality but is also safe to buy from, I've obviously been on Perfect Clones and know that their work is supposed to be of a very high quality, wondering if there is anywhere else or if anyone knows anything more about Perfect Clones?

    Thanks guys,

    Ben

    Dear Ben

    Firstly, welcome to RWG

    note the following:

    a. Browse the forum, you will find a lot of useful information that will save you some questions and the subsequent snide replies from some of the wittier and less tolerating members here

    b. A dealer of the watches does not manufacture the watches. As such, your question of "best quality" does not apply to the dealers here. Be it Puretime, Perfect Clones, Trusty etc, they will get same watch you order from the same source. Take note of this.

    c. If you want to know about Perfect Clones (or any other dealer for that matter), go read about their review, don't ask questions here, you will get the typical "awweessoomme, I'll buy from them 13,462,382 times more!" or "nope, stay away", depending on their personal experience. Its a moot question, do your own research noob. Yes you are obviously new, but try not to ask questions that has been posted here for approximately 17million times. It gets just a tad old.

    d. If you have found a watch or a few watches you are keen on, post again to ask for help. But questions like "Who is the best dealer around?", "Is Perfect Clones the perfect dealer?" and "Do you think guns should be allowed in the USA at all?" will likely get you varied replies and you would end up more confused than a mouse in a gyro.

    Best regards

    LK

  2. I think one cannot pass absolute judgement on the intentions and integrity of a noob with 0 posts and feedback.

    He has to start somewhere!

But I do understand, with the scams happening lately on the forum and on PP, it doesn't hurt to be a lot more cautious with such prospects.

I myself traded with a few total noobs before, and the experiences were alright. I could have been just lucky I know.

The number of posts and feedback do affect how we perceive the member to be, in terms of his standing, but I guess that # of posts and feedback nonwithstanding, one must always exercise due caution when being involved in a trade either way.

  3. HI Buddy

IF anything its further away from the gen .. as the v1 is closer , minus the updated PUSHERS the reason being is the number are way to dark .. as on the gen there a much lighter sky blue colour as pointed on .. rep v gen thread !!

ah i see mate.. so the V2 is a downgrade in fact. Such a pity, the MH is always a model I liked and I had high hopes for the v2. Well, guess its still ok to hope! :D

  4. mine just arrived today ... have to say there is not much difference in the 2 at first glance ..but there is slight colour variation ..on the following
    1. more creamer dial
2.sub dial slight different shade of brown
3.sec+min hand blue different shade of blue less aqua !!
4.tachy is slightly metallic shade to the finish !!
    5. the update AR and DW not hardly noticeable
6 dark number on the v2
    7. bolder ap font
conclusion ... not worthy of being called v2 at all .... more like V1.1

Hello Mr Z my friend :drinks:

Thanks for the clarifications. So it creeps just that bit closer to the gen you own eh? :D

  5. Ok seriously guys one reason why this hasn't happened is that Biver personally posted on a watch forum that he would hunt down anyone connected with replica's of his watch.

There has been a changing of the guard at Hublot now but the fact is the replica's were good enough to scare Biver so it is probably still a good idea to fly under the radar with this brand.

Then of course I could just be full of shit :D

    Ken

unless Biver has mastered the art of splitting himself into 63,265 persons, and each has enough money to fight all the replica dealers and forum owners, I highly doubt he could follow through his threats to hunt down any and everyone connected with replicating Hublots. Honestly, I see him as a bit of an asshole as well, looking like a cross between yoda and a gremlin.

  6. I agree with Mike that the sales thread being open to all would also mean that it increases the chance of scammers mingling with the honest folk and trying to pull fast ones, from time to time.

I appreciate the RWG crew for opening up the sales section to everyone to buy and sell freely while the PP issue is being sorted out.

Of late, we do see some highly dubious threads being started in the sales section. I also would like to see some form of control over the posts in the sales section but recognize that its no easy task.

Perhaps some form of interim vetting system can be in place for non-VIP members, something akin to that of high-value sales? I am suggesting this because by default, under old forum rules, any VIP member may post any sales, but not regular members. Perhaps this could bring some form of control to the RWG sales section

  7. He has obviously no respect for RWG house rules nor does he bother to address the concerns we posted.

Blatantly peddling his wares like some leftover snake oil at the county fair.

I can only hope that whoever bought the watches will receive them (if even one was ever sold) and even if he turns out to be an authentic seller, he should use the profits generated to attend a basic social manners workshop.

  8. Wow Mr. A I haven't seen you so angry before... speechless at this point, looks like he picked the wrong fight... :starwars:

Mr J, I am not yet angry, merely pissed at his approach. When I am really angry I will start calling him names which I would regret.

Right now, no regrets yet. :D

  9. shawnb, learn some fucking manners before becoming a "trusted" seller here!

You are new, and it was natural that doubts are expressed about you. Yes I gave you the benefit of doubt and even defended you when others called you a scammer. I regret that, you bitch.

I emailed you, and you got impatient and accused me of "moaning on the forums". Couldn't you express more patience, when you expect me and others like me to purchase something from you for the first time?

I definitely WOULD NOT buy from you, and I would definitely recommend those who would listen, to do the same. Such ill-bred manners, and a fuse shorter than an oompa-loompa child does not get you far when it comes to selling things.

So take your 100 units of MH V2 and shove them so far up your ass, that your throat looks cream, blue and brown when your mouth opens.
