It took years to get the Sub reps into this level... with small mods they're virtually indistinguishable. All I can say is "finally"!

Generally, no. You don't see many Grand Carreras around, do you? Membership thinks it's overpriced for what it offers. That means very little sales.

That's very cool. You seem to be quite a connoisseur. You should wear a no-cg Bond Sub when you're preparing the drink though.

I don't drink any alcohol (except very occasionally) but that machine would be perfect for my protein shakes.

People say such things as "Don't mourn the death, but celebrate her life", etc... but it's always terrible to lose a close person. Losing a mother... I don't know how that would feel. Only time will heal I guess.

Wonder why they're changing the dial... I find the current dial excellent. The M and m don't align perfectly on the "Flat S" dial version, the '5 second markers are thicker like they should be... and I prefer this over the standard "S" version anyway. Yeah, call me a geek.

@Lani: I know exactly what you're talking about. AR really makes the dial "stand out", and it's very important on the SMP. The dial wave pattern is amazing.

I don't know, but I definitely like it.

There's no "best bang for the buck" in reps. There are only less and more accurate reps. Personally, I always go for the best one... because eventually the lesser ones won't give you the same satisfaction. True, the WM9 price is more than double compared to the Noobmariner high-beat (which is very nice 16610 replica).

Are you willing to pay that extra money for those small things that make the WM9 more accurate? How could anyone give you a definite answer? It's completely up to you.

You usually get what you pay for, even with reps. There are some very nice replicas that are very good for the money. But if 16610 Sub is your absolute favorite and you're planning to keep it long term, I recommend the WM9.

Read both of my reviews and make your own educated decision. But keep in mind that the Noobmariner review was written in 2006, way before the WM9 surfaced.

Yes. They are the only Rolex replicas worth buying. Except for the custom ones like Euromariner.

All members should stay the hell away from the awful "CN versions" that some dealers are still selling. Usually they're easily detectable from the "wok-shaped" rehaut (with no front crystal thickness) and datewheel position (which is always too right on the dial).

Here's a good (or bad) example of a standard "CN rep". Selling this kind of Canal Street garbage (for premium prices) to our good members in year 2008 is almost a crime. Nothing against King who sells a lot of great stuff too... this is just an example. Like I said, do more research and reading... and BEWARE THE JUNK!

It's a replica factory in China making very good Rolex replicas. Actually the only factory (besides WM9) that makes the good ones. bklm1234 started calling them that, because this factory became popular of the Noobmariner.

Compare the sales pictures to pics of the correct versions and beware the junk!
