  1. I purchased a Seadweller from a member a couple of months ago. I havn't worn it much due to my new job. I have been wearing it lately and it isn't comfortable. This was one of Joshua's "best" Seadwellers. The bracelet is sharp on it's edges, but the main problem I have in the "hinge" in the clasp. The part that folds up and lays against your skin, where the pin connects the two peices. The edges of it are realy sharp and rub against my wrist, to the point where I don't want to wear the watch. So... my questions are, is this normal, and is there aything I can do to smooth out the edges of the "hinge" area of the clasp. I hope I described it well enough. Your help is much appreciated, I really like the watch, but I have a big wrist, and it just isn't comfortable to me. Thanks, Deacon.

    Check gioarmani's post: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=65712

the answer is there........somewhere in the lower part!!! Good luck.....I'm pretty sure you'll learn a lot from this post!!!

  2. @natron.....you're included with the Group Buy.....!

I've prepared a spreadsheet with all requests including multiple orders.......I would like to ask members to read it and confirm their choices....!

I'm not sure how to embed the Excel spreadsheet in this post....perhaps a Mod or a Techie can advise.....!

I would also like the first 10x members to PM me and advise me of the following...I'll then create a contact record card in MS Outlook for each member......once I've received...I'll proceed to the next 10x....and so forth...!

    1.Their address

    2. Their chosen payment method.

    3. Any special instructions...such as UK forwarding.....alternative shipping address etc etc.

In terms of payment.....most of my customers are now using Moneygram...the consensus of opinion is that it is cheaper than WU....many of my every day customers use it....andfind it quite easy....I;ve had Moneygram from all continents and many countries.....!

I regret that I cannot offer Paypal or Moneybookers...nothing would please me more.....I simply do not have the facility now....having had 5x PP accounts closed last year.....and my solitary Moneybookers account....!

Moneygram payments can be made online....or at local facilities....the Moneygram website can provide you with details of all locations in your area......all you have to do is use their 'FIND US" facility....input your country.....state or region ...city and zip / postcode.....it will give you a list ofagents.....if your postcode doesn't show any agents....widen the search by deleting your zip / postcode....and leave the city only.

You can also do the payment online....but as I'm a receiver....never a sender....I cannot advise which countries have this facility available to them.

    MONEYGRAM FIND US

    regards and thanks

    TTK

Neil! Looks good for me! PM sent for all needed info! Thanks!

  3. I wear my genunie Rolex Sub and my genuine Panerai to the gym a lot... whether I'm on the machines, using the free-weights and/or in the sauna/shower/steam room....no matter.

They are frickin watches not safe queens....they are used to tell time in between sets for a more aerobic versus anerobic work out....I only wear the bracelet and rubber straps models to the gym or for running as I don't like the sweat stain buildup on my leather straps doh......plus, I need to know the time so I can either

    a. get my azz back to work

    b. get an early jump on traffic for the jaunt home

    c. i don't like to leave my watches whether fake or gen lying in the "locked" locker....

Now drop and give me twenty..... :p

You're right there tech! I can't remember the time not having a watch on........maybe when the lady friend complains about it............

  6. I'm joining a fitness club soon, and can you believe it -- no idea which watch to wear.

    Narrowed down choices include:

    - DSN 112 (too bulky?)

    - 42.5mm PO (too flimsy?)

    - HBB Aspen (too fashionista?)

That's why I went with that rather minging Swiss Army watch shown in the Wristcheck.

I need a watch which can withstand running, lifting, and saunas. Possibly a dip in the jacuzzi -- so obviously, no chronos. I may have to actually BUY a rep watch for this venture.

Your thoughts would be appreciated, but let me ask you in general:

What watch do you wear for working out, or jogging, bicycling, swimming, etc.?

Hi Victoria! Welcome to the club!!! The Fitness Club, I mean! :bicycle:

I wear my Rolex Subs and YMs most of the time.....just make sure they're waterproof!

Enjoy your workout! You'll be hurting for a few days (after your weight training), but it will go away!

Take it slow the first week! You'll be running in South Beach by spring!!!

    Good Luck!

  7. Why not send him one of these.......or one of my 'blades'....:D

    305PANERAISUBMERSIIBLEDESTRODUO3.jpg

Neil! I like that 45....and the PAM! I have the SW 45ACP circa1980 and the PAM064! And the blades....got a few of those, too!

My friend probably got all this military stuffs in his collection....if we are all here WATCH Collectors.....he is the GUN/Knife collector....he's got an Armory at home!

  8. A really nice Shuffle, e.g.:

    28801363ada03a3abe4ce010.L.jpg

Only problem I can see, is that he needs to have a dedicated computer since it will erase your songs if connected to a different one, each time. Something which depends on his deployment situation (guys take turns at field HQ computers, to send emails to-and-fro. Not always do you get the same computer).

Charging it might be tricky too, unless his CO allows him to leave it plugged in for a while.

I'm guessing if he's in charge of 220 men and women, he might be a Major, so it's okay. ;)

The great thing about that, is you don't need to plug that in. The best things in life truly are free.

Let me check that shuffle out and test it and see how goes based on your observation!

    Thanks again......and, BTW: He's a Colonel!

  9. Now I'm giddy with anticipation.....since Neil have a limited number of these models...... and I don't have Skype!,

I ordered the 231 from Joshua (originally wanted the 197, but he said his supplier doesn't make them anymore!) and its

    hopefully on it's way........ :Jumpy:

Neil! Do you still have a 197, if you do, I'll bye a PC headphone today and install Skype!!!! I want it real bad!!!

  10. How about a full Kevlar body suit....a really BIG gun.......and a cellphone jammer......or get him a Canadian passport and a ticket home......

    TTK,

I beat he would love all of those, but Canadian Passport???? Nah!!! He's a real Patriot....been in the service for 26 years.....and to think that he wasn't even

born and raised in the US......

If he wanted to do that, his current post is only 120 miles to the Canadian Border...............

  11. Hi all! I Need your help!

My best friend who stayed in the service (we use to be in together!) much longer than he should, is being

re-assigned to Iraq (just got transferred stateside from Korea two months ago!) and I'm in a dilemma on

what to give him as a send off gift (please don't say "give him a watch", he's not a watch guy....more on Freddy's

    Uzi type Gent...).

    Thanks!

    :bangin::black_eye:

Check TTK! He might have something for you!

  13. Thanks Hike.. thats what I was looking for. What are your impressions of the Sub?

Sorry this is late, been very busy lately! Other than the watch losing 4 minutes a day, the watch is great! Its a good beater watch! I'll work on it

this weekend when I get all the tools and fluids from Ofrei that Freddy suggsted! Its gonna be my first time inside a watch, so wish me luck!
